He’s got a point - if the Constitution didn’t give low-population states so much power in the Senate and the Electoral College, he’d never have been elected in the first place and see all be much better off.

I just saw this in another thread (thanks Czarcasm) from a couple of days ago but how do his daughter and son in law just shrug this off? Hey, happy Hanukah, let’s make sure that this pastor who preaches eternal hellfire for Jews gets an invite? Does it really not bother them?
I hate to say it, but I think we’ve crossed the event horizon.
We’re already in a Constitutional crisis and the rule of law no longer applies to those who are in power. Trump Republicans have been boiling the frog for 3+ years. Trump is “joking” about a third term (remember when he “joked” about “Russia, if you’re listening…”?), he and McConnell will declare the results of the 2020 election illegitimate and away we go.
Their power is consolidated. The American People™ and their wishes no longer matter at all.

Trump’s answer to being impeached for criminal phone call is to not let others listen in anymore.
That’s perfect logic for a 5 year old, and so for Trump as well. He’s probably going to get bigly republican support with it.
How long before world leaders will only talk to Trump in pairs?
