That won’t happen if Republican Dirty Tricks work out as planned.
"Devin Nunes just admitted on national television that the Republican strategy to win the November election is illegal.
They aren’t even trying to hide it."

The Bark of the Covenant?
I’d momentarily forgotten about it, but yes, so-called ballot harvesting is absolutely one tool in their toolkit. They tried this in North Carolina, and almost pulled it off. Republicans know that there will be pressure to open-up mail-in voting across different states, so one tactic will be to disrupt mail voting any way they can.
The deeper, long-term damage will be inflicted not just by Trump alone, but by McConnell’s courts. It’s the complicity of ideological courts that turns democracies into hybrid or quasi-democracies because it’s typically through courts that legislatures and executives can gain legitimacy. It’s especially true in the US where the average person has a lot more direct access to courts relative to less free and less open societies. If authoritarian regimes can essentially corrupt the courts, it’s game over for democracy - at least for the average person or the person with the wrong skin tone, wrong religion, wrong gender, and wrong economic class. And this is what McConnell is focusing on with a sense of urgency and laser-like focus.

They won’t have to.
We’re already in a global emergency.
They’ll use the pandemic to achieve their goals if they can… which means they might not actually want a quick end to it.
But the pandemic is a hoax, right? They can’t use it.
Didn’t stop them from using hoards of illegal migrant caravans…
