All well and good, but you have fitted the buzzwhistles and dogwords together a little too neatly. They flow too smoothly and reach a clear point. Even a couple years ago he was not that coherent or direct. You need to work on pieces that do not land where they were aiming for.
I’m waiting for Trump to binge watch the MCU movies and then order the Pentagon to put together a team of American super-heroes. And some poor military spokesman is going to have to appear before the press and pretend that the President’s order was a sound and reasonable decision.

I’ve been following a lot of Garry Kasparov’s posts on twitter, as they offer very real insights into what Trump is trying to do.
He had this to say very early in the administration when were still trying to see whether or not Trump was really that bad or whether he would eventually moderate. He warned us in February of 2017 about what the next few years could look like:
This is why I think he, McConnell, Nunes, et al will attempt to manufacture some kind of national emergency. Don’t assume that the facts will win and that they can’t find a way to spin this pandemic crisis around and turn the tables on progressives - they absolutely can.
The truth will be their first casualty, as we’re seeing already. They will first try to slow testing, and they will slow the reporting of testing. Deny! Deny! Deny! They will deliberately misinform and send messages that run parallel to what their health officials are saying. I’d be very surprised if they don’t eventually fire Dr Fauci or force him into retirement. He’s useful for the time being because they know he has some credibility, but they will find ways to smear him, too, if given enough time. If an outbreak worsens, they could always turn right around and claim he didn’t warn them, didn’t do enough to prepare for the second wave, and whatever else.
But the real crime will be perpetrated by Democrats in government. Perhaps the narrative will be that they are deliberately undermining republican efforts to stop the virus so that they can shut down the economy and take over private businesses: a left wing communist take over in which they seize businesses, seize wealth, seize property, seize guns, and control people’s movements.
Again, none of these charges would require a shred of fact or truth: as I said on another thread, right wing voters already fantasize deep down about being able to control progressives; therefore, progressives must have similar fantasies about doing the same to them. American democracy is not a shared space; it’s a jungle, and the stronger side, the superior culture survives. The weak, die.
That is their world. That is why they protest. That is what will energize them between now until the time comes when they are totally discredited. I hope that time is by fall 2020, but it might not be.

This was essentially proven during the impeachment proceedings. He survived because people who know nothing about economics – which is a shit ton of people in this ignorant-ass society – gave him high marks for the economy. He ‘won’ because of this. And he became harder to stop.
This proved to be prescient as well.
Indeed, Trump pushes and probes to find cracks in the system, and he keeps finding more and more of them. McConnell long ago decided he was going to turn the senate into a factory for right wing judges and that his senate was abdicating its constitutional role as a guardrail for democracy.
It will be for ordinary people to decide what kind of government they want to have after January 2020.
