The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

It’s more likely HE will try to hang them out to dry (whoops, under the bus you go), to protect himself.

Interesting question. Suppose these rascals all got pardoned. Would that not compel them to testify and perhaps incriminate Donald? I

New sign on Trump’s desk.
“The bus stops here.”

If Trump doesn’t hire a bunch of homeless crackheads he is clearly a Big Ol’ Meanie.

Yeah, you understand the concern perfectly.

There’s a killer political cartoon to be done there.

And it’s a short one indeed.

Well, it IS on par with his usual understanding.

So I was listening to NPR on the way to work today and they were interviewing people at Trump’s latest rally. One woman was going on about how she didn’t believe anything the media said about Trump. That it was all a big plot by the Democrats to keep him busy so he can’t do his job. And another person was going on about how he just gets ‘them’, aka his base. And it’s like what the fuck people? It’s frustrating to heart this because I know these aren’t just a few nut jobs. These people are just like my parents who think Trump is the best thing that ever happened to this country. It just makes me crazy to hear them talk about how awful it is that all these lies about him are coming out and I just want to tear my hair out.

The common clay …

Did *anyone *try to tell him how much of the Iowa economy is based on wind power, both in generating it and in manufacturing the equipment?

I honestly can’t wrap my head around it. I can understanding voting for Romney, McCain, or even GW Bush. But for the life of me, I cannot comprehend support for Trump. I’d like to think most people are not generally idiots or otherwise deplorable, but I’ve run out of alternative explanations for these people. It’s depressing.

Do any of these people give a reason for why Democrats, liberals, and The Media **want **to block Trump and keep him from doing his job? What do they see as our motivation?

People who feel abandoned reached for a non politician - in what many conclude is a post-representative, oligarchical political system.

We all got paid by George Soros.

I’m still waiting for my check, btw.

It’s projection. The Republicans spent Obama’s term trying to make him fail instead of govern, so they think the Democrats are doing so as well. The Dems would be right do be doing so, but they aren’t, and they wouldn’t need to make things up about Trump if they were; he’s got that angle covered.

I suspect it’s a fairly classic instance of projection: it’s what we would do (and did, of course), so the other side must see it as a win/lose game, too.
BTW, has anyone else noticed how intelligent and incisive The Tooth is?

Handsome, too.

Step 1) Always vote R
Step 2) Come to terms with the fact that Trump is the R candidate
Step 3) Figure out a way to convince yourself that Trump is like you

That’s how my parents did it, at least. Whenever Trump is at his most scripted and restrained, e.g. the 60 minutes interview after the election, or his first congressional address, that’s the real Trump. The crazy, pussy-grabbing clown that you see the rest of the time is an act he puts on to play the media, see. The twice divorced wife beater? Not relevant to the job duties. No, what matters is that he’s a smart businessman who made a fortune being smart. Any derogatory information about his business practices is just sour grapes. Etc, etc.

The Tooth? I can’t handle the tooth!
