What did Peter Smith know about Trump and the Russians? And, who commits suicide by “asphyxiation due to displacement of oxygen in confined space with helium”? I’ve certainly never heard of anyone doing that. And he left a note saying there was “NO FOUL PLAY WHATSOEVER”? That’s just the kind of thing professional killers would do to make you think it was a suicide!
More seriously, committing suicide by replacing the oxygen in a confined space with helium is something I’ve never heard of people doing. Is it common? Would you get one of those big helium tanks they use to inflate balloons, put a wet towel at the bottom of the closet door, and open the tank? I guess that would be fairly clean as far as suicides go.

Huh. Apparently it’s often done with a “suicide bag” where you put a plastic bag over your head and put an inert gas in it to avoid the feelings of panic and suffocation.
I also just learned that if you google that, one of the first hits is a site providing advice and instructions on suicide methods.
