The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Your theory makes sense.

He’ll want to know where their dressing room is. “It’s okay. I’m president.”

and then grab them by their pussies

Or an Escher drawing of clusterfuckery.

To be honest, I’m surprised. My biggest concern was that he was capable of pretending to be presidential and would be able to be an effective leader. Effectively leading the country in the wrong direction, but effective nonetheless.

He is so much worse at this than I predicted.

Apparently Rex Tillerson is in a time out (which happens to be in the wake of the news that he’s not happy with Trump these days).

Absolutely right, except for one thing. Anyone who knew the jerk already knew his so-called management style. He attacks. He does not assist, mentor, or support in any fashion whatsoever. He absolutely does not understand anything at all about government, let alone governing.

What did people think? Those who thought he would learn had a severe case of wishful thinking. Those who knew what he’s like but still voted for him are delusional in that they were convinced that even this disaster is better than Ms. Clinton as president. Those morons are still convinced she committed treason, had someone rubbed out, and got people killed. Of course she did no such thing.

Those who are hoping that continued Republican support for this clown will destroy their chances in the next election are also forgetting that no matter how bad the sod gets, those idiotic voters in the “correct” distribution for the ‘pubs will ensure the ‘pubs’ candidates will not really have to campaign to win. All they have to do is rattle the idiots’ chain by resurrecting all the asinine CTs targeting Obama and Clinton, then it’ll be a walk. What’s needed, absent a sudden pandemic of actual critical thinking in certain states, is a major demographic shift, specifically getting more Democrats to move in.

Oh, and the winning card for Trump will continue to be his abuse of Muslims. What popularity he still has is due to that, and that will still get him votes from the bigots.

I agree with your post. None of this is a surprise to me except how bad it would get how fast. He’s shallow, malevolent, ignorant, uncouth, a rude bully… honestly, the worst of the worst. How anyone expected otherwise is simply beyond me, and why they wanted this sordid excuse for a human being as our face to the world just leaves me bereft.

In the run-up to the election, when people would muse about his capabilities, my simple reply was, “Birtherism.” Nothing more needed to be said, so far as I’m concerned. I mean, for fuck’s sake.

Heard a pundit today predict that Donnie Two Scoops would serve two full terms. As a nation, I don’t believe we can survive two full terms. I’m not sure we can survive one. I can’t even say how depressed it makes me. And it’s probably true. If he can’t get enough votes with his Hatred and Bigotry campaign, no worries. Just get an assist from the Russians.

A Rexit is in the works. So is a Sessions Exit (Sexit?). Let’s get rid of everyone who won’t pledge allegiance to the Orange Fuhrer.

Don Jr. can head the DOJ. Ivanka would be the ideal Secratary of State. Keep it in the family.

Will there be a Pentrance?

No way. We’re building a WALL !

If Trump were a normal politician, the top leadership could discretely drop by for a late night visit - then Trump could resign to spend more than me with his family.

But Trump isn’t normal and that tactic wouldn’t work, he’d only dig in deeper and get crazier.

So I think they’re a little bit scared of Trump right now. I think the whole healthcare vote thing was done to head off an explosion of Trump crazy that would be impossible to play down. Its a weird hostage situation- if they keep delivering wins and kissing his ass he won’t go totally batshit insane. That’s the new deal.

Funny to see Trump throw Sessions of all people under the bus, after all his claims about how much he values loyalty. Subservience is more like it.

He values loyalty very highly. To him, not from him.

And when he throws you under the bus, you’re expected to leap right back on your feet and check the schedule for the next one.

Just ask John “not a hero” McCain.

…so Scaramucci’s introduction has signalled a few things which Alexandra Erin describes here in this tweet storm.

In case you hadn’t noticed: Trump in the last week has been taken off his leash. No one is going to keep his phone from him any more. Trump has decided to stop listening and is going to take control of the narrative himself. We are watching the start of the purge. This administration is going to completely turn itself inside out in the next month. What it will turn into will be much scarier than what it is now. The republicans will probably finally start to push back: but it might be too late.

It’s staggering to think that Jefferson Beauregard Sessions is a big enough choad to have had his nomination to the federal bench opposed by Coretta Scott King, and Rex Tillerson is a big enough choad to have been the CEO of ExxonMobil (a position that has to require a pretty high level of choadery), and yet neither of them is a big enough choad to be an effective part of the Trump administration.

And it’s possible that Tillerson is extra pissed at 45 right now because he’s a lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts and was their National President from 2010 to 2012. His dad was an executive with the BSA.

I believe “clusterfuck” engenders the whole administration, so I’m putting this link here:

Is anyone surprised?

“U.S. Energy Secretary Duped into Fake Interview with Russian Comedians.”

:smack:

Oh, c’mon Rex! We’re running the government like a business now! You’re a business guy, so get in there like a business guy and do some governmenting!

I agree with the first part of the above quote, but not the second. There is no point at which the Republicans in Congress will start to push back. We might get a few clever quips from Lindsey Graham, and McCain might grimace for the cameras a little. I imagine that’s about it, though.

I just want to commend you for the use of choad, a word I haven’t heard in a while. That made me laugh.

I didn’t know that about Tillerson and the BSA. Interesting.

These disloyal bastards: Sean Spicer, Jeff Sessions, and now the Senate which has just rejected repeal and replace. They are all enemies of our Fuhrer!

You leave our Fuhrer no choice but to launch a nuclear missile on Washington. (Trump will conveniently be at Mara Lago at the time.) This is how he will drain the swamp and eliminate his enemies once and for all. Only then can we Make America Great Again!
