Haven’t watched much Sarah Huckabee Sanders and after today I don’t think I’ll waste my time. A reporter asked her about Trump tweeting today that there’s no chaos in the White House, and how that squares with the past week and a half. Her reply was: Like I’ve said before, if you want to see chaos come to my house with 3 pre school children; this doesn’t hold a candle to that.
I would like to see a video of Kelly barging into the Presidential Bathroom at 6:00 am, confronting The Donald on His Throne, ripping the iPhone out of Trump’s tiny hands, and stomping it to pieces on the tile floor. He then places a finger on the bridge of Trump’s nose, pushes Donald’s head back, and says (in his best Robert Shaw voice), “Ya folla?” With a snappy about-face, he slams the door on his way out.
A few months ago work people gathered at a bar after work. One of the girls who showed up (Trump voter) flat out started asking people who they voted for. After a guy proudly stated “Trump”, they both looked at me and asked who I voted for. (I thought civilized people didn’t ask such questions, but as I’ve mentioned, these were Trump voters.) This was on the very day that Trump was first smacked down by the courts over his travel ban decree. I answered that I voted for the only person qualified to hold the office, and the guy looked at me and said: Trump? No, Hillary Clinton, I said. As they looked at me I asked them if they knew what happened in the courts that day. Neither of them knew jack fucking shit about jack fucking shit. Trump voters.
Trump is doing exactly the job he was hired to do: make America irrelevant and weak.
I call it the Independence Day phenomenon. Now that’s a cringeworthy movie on many levels but can you imagine anyone proposing, today, a movie where the world looks to the U.S. for leadership of any kind?
He also said he and Putin talked about adoption during the unscheduled and unsupervised second meeting at the G20 dinner. Is that the go-to lie when they get caught talking to Russians?
It’s very interesting that Trump was so surprised to learn Lincoln was a Republican.
Not the sheer ignorance of this — we’ve always known the short-fingered con-man was a baboon intellectually. But the surprise reflects the fact that he knows it is the modern Democratic Party and not the GOP which is noted for civil rights, human compassion, basic intelligence, etc. It’s only with that knowledge that the Lincoln==Gop fact becomes “surprising.”
Look, you two, you’re getting on my nerves. Don’t you realise where you are? In the fuckin’ Pit!
What’s with this “hope you don’t mind” “quite the opposite - all good” crap! You going to talk like that, get to snooty Great Debates, or even middle-brow MPSIMS.
You stay here, we want to see anger! venom!! flecks of spittle dangling from your keyboard!!!:mad::mad:
And of course, some “fuck-wit” catcalling!!! Start channelling the Mooch, not fuckin’ Mr Rogers.
“Adoption” is their codeword for the Magnitsky Act.
Saying that they were discussing adoption is kinda sorta true if you squint and look at it from the right angle, but it’s actually a misleading way of describing discussion of the Magnitsky Act.
