The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

No, no, even The Donald is saying that it was the Ukrainians who wanted Hillary.

Lindsey Graham says that Orange Chimp is planning on a preemptive strike against North Korea.

Slight quibble. I think “is planning on” has a slightly different connotation from “is prepared to”. Graham said Trump “is prepared to” attack the DPRK if China doesn’t stop the DPRK’s missile program. That is, he’s willing and able. To me, “is planning to” kinda sounds like he’s already decided to go ahead and attack.

Parts of Kushner’s comments to his staff about Middle Eastern negotiations include the fact that he clearly doesn’t care to hear the background of the conflict and just wants to bull ahead, even though, as he said, “So, what do we offer that’s unique? I don’t know”

Why don’t they just put solar panels on the existing walls. Make Palestinians pay for them. Call it mission accomplished.

I love the placement of this paragraph “WIRED has obtained a recording of Kushner’s talk, which lasted for just under an hour in total.”

Right after a quote from Katie Patru decrying recording the session.

I was drawn to this tidbit:

Uh-huh. We’ll see how long that lasts…and if Kelly can enforce it (or make Trump enforce it).

Good point Bayard. I think this quote may be the one that gets the most press:

While the line may play well in America, I doubt the South Koreans will be real happy with it. Probably something like: 그 멍청한 놈이 뭐라고 했어 !!

Because yellow people far away don’t count, it appears (nor the 40,000 American troops in S. Korea…)

During the legal trials that will taking place for the next decade or so, we will continue to hear the two main defenses that the Trump family has trotted out so far. The always popular “Fake News”. Usually followed by the “We’re too stupid to have done that”.

Kushner is practicing on his phrasing for the second one.

I was going to post that Kushner excuse. Not sure how “we were too disorganized to collude with the Russians” would resonate with Trump who I’m pretty sure thought he had the most organized campaign ever.

This going to be the Trump administration’s version of, “I vass only following oh-ders”.

Yes, well Trump actually thinks that the unemployment rate was 40% under Obama because the statistics were fake, but now the unemployment rate is 4.3% because the statistics are the the most accurate ever.

Can I co-sign that?

sweet mother, the expense :frowning:

If the orange bastard FINALLY is made to answer for at least ONE thing he’s done in his miserable lying cheating stealing crooked life, I say

EXPENSE IS NO OBJECT.

Lock him up. Throw away the key. Let him die in prison, marked as a LOSER.

From your lips to god’s ears! Nailed it in one.

Only Trump would think that adding “war criminal” to his list of violations would be the royal road to getting him out of his current troubles.

But, seriously: a preemptive strike on North Korea, which would certainly kill millions of South Korean and Japanese people and leave many areas radioactive, will not be greeted with floral tributes and hosannas by the international community. At the very least it will put Trump on trial at The Hague; at worst it could leave the US economy crippled by the sanctions that would be imposed.

Nice for Russia and China, but not so nice for Americans.

Im astounded that, in addition to negotiating Middle East Peace, China Relations, Solving the Opioid Crisis and Restructuring the Government-that Kushner is also tasked with developing and delivering a lecture series for interns. Doesn’t this family know how to delegate ANyTHING? They couldn’t even make Bannon do it?

Would you let Bannon, or Trump*, near your interns?
