To be fair to the hosts of that show,* they were confronting Gorka throughout the interview. With Gorka, though, basically every sentence contains a dozen false claims, underhanded inferences, and fallacious conclusions. There’s no way to confront him about all of them.
You have to wonder about someone like that: does he genuinely hold in his head both thoughts (‘huzzah for the brave anti-Muslim patriots who attacked that mosque’ and also ‘damned Muslims probably ginned this up themselves for the publicity’)…?
My guess is ‘no’–he probably knows it was a genuine hate crime (and applauds it). It’s just too delicious for him to resist going on TV and implying that ‘the damned Muslims probably ginned this up themselves’.

Whether they were “political acts arried out with the express purpose of framing a political opponent” is debatable, some were, some were not. But Gorka was not talking specifically about “false flag” operation. At least not the way it is defined by Sherrerd. Maybe he’ll come back and re-define it for us to make what Gorka said fit?
