The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

I’m genuinely concerned that Bannon drunkenly explained that Trump’s entire North Korea strategy is a bluff, and now Trump has incentive to prove Bannon wrong.

As long as they don’t say it on Fox & Friends, Trump won’t know.

Hey, those claims can both be true. Although it means that then THEIR IQ must be zero-point-something.

And it probably is, so…

Trump is rhapsodizing this morning about the “beautiful” Confederate statues.

I got the feeling he was goading too. Either Kim or Don, he’d take a nuke from either at this point.

Also the same people who claim that the KKK is really a liberal organization and that the Nazis were actually left wing “socialists.”

Shhhh! the Leader of the Free World is putting.

He is such an unbelievable piece of shit. Every time I think I cannot hate him more, I do. I’m a pretty mild-mannered, easy going person, but I don’t think I have ever hated another person as much as I hate Donald Trump. He is an embarrassment to this country and I can’t even fathom how much malicious damage he would inflict if he weren’t so incompetent. It’s growing increasingly difficult for me to separate his morally bankrupt character from the people who still ardently support him. I’ve never actually witnessed this sort of populism before, or realized the power of populist rhetoric to shut down critical thinking.

I read an article that stated Fox News (Fox News, FFS), MSNBC and NBC could not find a single Republican to come on and defend Trump’s remarks after Charlottesville, and yet his supporters still don’t take this as a warning sign that something is seriously wrong with his leadership. There were two people on Fox, a Republican and Democrat, brought on board to debate the monument bullshit (which is a distraction from the real issue of systemic racism in this country) and instead of arguing about monuments they basically both broke down in tears and expressed how brokenhearted they were at Trump’s failure to lead. It’s so incredibly sad and rage-provoking and tragic and frustrating. There’s having a different view of policy and then there’s looking the other way in the face of evil. I truly did not understand the difference until Donald Trump.

I’m pretty sure that there are plenty of Republicans by now who would like Obama to return to Washington in response to various and sundry (whether they would publicly admit it or not.)

By the way, maybe I missed it, but have any Republican elected officials ever expressed a hope that a President be assassinated?

Well said. My feelings exactly.

+1

Looks like his plan for peace in the Middle East is starting to work.

Why are you talking about assassination here?

Yeah, we all know how much he appreciates art.

Okrahoma, is this close enough for you?

I’m guessing you’re referring to this?

No need to be coy. You have a valid point. Come right out and say it. The person who made the remark is awful and is worthy of criticism. I hope she gets all kind of shit for saying that, and if she were my representative, that statement would likely make me withhold support for her.

Doesn’t much change the fact that the President of the United States is a white supremacist, though. But, hey, you made a valid point and that’s something for you to be proud of.

I would just direct you to the Stupid Liberal Idea of the Day thread, where I’m sure Clothahump would appreciate being tagged out after fighting the good fight alone so long.

ETA: And, by the way, the leadership of the state Democratic party has denounced her, and she has apologized.

I couldn’t figure it out either. Some kind of deflection tactic, I presume, but seems apropos of nothing.

Dammit. Beat me to it. Of course, there’s gonna be weaseling about what was meant by “let his days be few.” At any rate, both are grade A morons, and both have little to do with this thread.

I think Grade A morons are exactly what this thread is about!
