The Democrats back then were a lot more united than they are now. As it is currently, they’re still licking their wounds from a bitter political defeat, a complete sweep of the federal government by the Republicans. And they keep losing at the state and local levels as has been discussed many times already. I don’t see how any progressive can for even a moment sit and admire the infighting among Republicans.

This is actually quite a good idea. Sessions, among all members of this Administration, is probably the one doing the most harm to the nation. Keeping him busy with prosecutions of those who laugh at him would be a major public service.
And it’s not as though you’d have to hire trained actors who can ‘laugh on cue’—Sessions is so intrinsically comical a figure that any randomly-chosen patriots could do the job.
Betsy DeVos announced that there will be new rules pertaining to how campus rapes are investigated. Mind you, she didn’t announce the new rules, because there aren’t any. Yet. In fact, she hasn’t even started making new rules, instead she has said she “would seek feedback from the public and universities, and develop new rules.”
The whole thing was really just an elaborately staged dis of Obama and his administration, paid for by the taxpayers. Or am I wrong on that?
