The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Trump has announced he will not be visiting the fire damage in California. I would have thought that it was because California voted for Hillary, except that Puerto Rico didn’t even vote.

Spin control from the Chief of Staff:

Hey, Kelly, your boss is President Mushmouth. What the fuck did you think would happen?

Talking points for President Trump’s visit to Maple Elementary, 10/23/17:
[ul][del]How much you love children[/del][/ul]
[ul][del]Excited to see the student body embracing science so passionately[/del][/ul]
[ul][del]From the mouths of babes[/del][/ul]
[ul]Inauguration was [del]huge[/del] [del]biggest ever[/del] really really nice[/ul]

I think you’re proving that presidents are viable old guys, not the reverse.

And General Kelly should quit polishing his medals, saddle, glasses, and shoes. When honor is tarnished, nothing should glitter nor gleam.

That George W, a man who knows clusterfucks, has to come out and say this is taking clusterfucking way too far, is frightening.

Maybe someone told him that PR can’r vote so it’s not entirely their fault.
Why would he visit California, there’s no golf courses in the burned areas.

I liked how they chose to end the article:

I’d never thought that Bush II could become something of a respected older statesman, I found him to be a joke and a pawn of his cronies mostly back then, but this deserves my respect.

OF COURSE, I know that Trump will never do what I described which is why he’s not fit to be Commander in Chief. Because the situation calls for humility. Which is the opposite of Trump.

I’m petty sure Kelly did not expect “He knew the job was dangerous when he took it” to fall out of The Howling Yam’s mouth when talking to a war widow…or any widow. It’s not the sort of thing any adult human would say in that specific instance. “You knew the job was dangerous when you took it” is what you say to your buddy when his 5 year-old is insistent on having a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese’s.

I’m going to have to step away from the Trump threads until the “He knew the job was dangerous when he took it” thing dies down. I’m starting to hear the Superchicken theme song every time I see it, now.

Well, thanks a lot. Now that’s what I hear, too.

Kinda makes it better.

He at least kept his clusterfucks within normal human parameters.

I never thought I’d say that.
Dear Self in 2003:

Shrubya’s not the worst President you’ll ever see by a long, long shot. It can and will get worse.

Love,
Self in 2017

He will probably tell you he has learned that it sure gets cold after the rain falls.

Trying to think of преЦАРдент Trump comebacks, along the lines of “very very bad George Bush - a republican, now a traitor”, “I can paint way better than him”.

I wouldn’t consider SHS fat (bovine-mouthed, yeah, but not a blimp).
“cupcakes” could have been interchangeable with anything vapid and useless - “crocs”, “sparkle make-up”, “Nutella”, and the link just so happened to provide something vapid and useless.

He probably just associates Cali. with Hollywood, which in turn reminds him of his failed “Apprentice” gong show. It hurts.

“… an entire apartment in one afternoon. Two coats!”

This is a guy who has immense difficulty staying on message even when reading from a TelePrompter. Advise him what to say then hand him a phone? Ain’t no way he’s coming close to saying what was in that advice, might even say the complete opposite, and Kelly should have known that.

“You should see my Melania series…Misplaced them somewhere, but believe me, folks, they were hot!”

It’s mind-blowing, isn’t it? Every day the bar moves lower too. It’s like dancing the limbo in Hell.

This is the main thing. Prior to Trump, even presidents that we loved to hate were NORMAL human beings. Trump is not a normal president, and he is not a normal person. I believe his die-hard supporters know this about him and it’s precisely what they like about him, namely, the anarchy and chaos that he generates. What bugs me are the people (some of them on this board) who act like Trump IS normal, or that he’s operating just this side of normal, even if he sometimes comes close to the edge. Like Kelly’s [del]excuse[/del] statement about Trump and “[the soldier] knew what he was getting into.” That’s not anything that a normal person with a normal amount of empathy and compassion would say in that situation. To try to normalize it is just wrong.

When Trump comes to Christmas dinner at the White House with his underpants on his head, his die-hards will cheer because they want him to stick it to decorum and trash the rules of civility. But the borderline supporters will make some stupid excuse and act like it’s a perfectly normal thing to do.

And he commits these stupid crazy acts several times each day.
