It’s all about colors with you, isn’t it?
Palin at least had been a state governor, and hadn’t been proclaiming her unfitness for the office for two years via Twitter.
Did you ever think you’d see the day when we’d be saying “Sarah Palin wasn’t the *absolute *bottom of the barrel”?
I was trying to think how to phrase that.
Just nine years ago Palin’s blatant unsuitability helped cost McCain the election. That someone immeasurably less qualified won at the top of the ticket, when his inadequacy was obvious from the beginning, just shows how far we have fallen.
Am I the only Naomi Klein fan here? I consider her an intellectual but in this video from April she plays agitator, advocating ways to diminish Trump’s wealth. Spread the word!
QFT
You give her too much weight. Tundra Barbie was a skinny little plastic thing who was only marginally relevant. The biggest players in that election were the markets, vastly overshadowing any glimmer of a hope that old Wetstart might have had. The economic outlook of the public is the primary decider in elections. Whenever it goes the other way, there have been shenanigans.
Donald Trump has forced more recalibration than Lord Kelvin.
That was cold.
Absolutely so.
I’ve been thinking for some time that THAT particular barrel, in defiance of all known physical laws, has no bottom.
We will inevitably, eventually reach the Republican Singularity, but it might take forever.
It’s shitgibbons all the way down.
Here’s a good recent documentary on the Trumpsterfuck. Among other things we learn that the spelling-predictor on your smartphone will produce more coherent speech than the tired neurons operating the Trumpster-brain.
Trump is really draining that swamp; yes he is!
Maybe, but we’d definitely be better off if had spent the time lowering drug prices instead of raising them.
I think the GOP voters should have made sure they knew what Trump meant when he said he’d “drain the swamp”, because it sure seems to mean something different than most people thought.
Maybe they misunderstood, and what he really said (or meant) was “Swamping the Drain”.
If you swamp the drain, it backs up, and your swamp gets bigger, and thrives.
What are you talking about? He’s doing exactly what his voters want him to do.
True… and when THEY are drowning in the enlarged swamp they’ll just blame Obama and Hillary.
He meant “Training the Swamp”. We just misheard him.
Oh, come on, you have to skim it first.
