If you mean the worst possible President, you’re there. Trump isn’t as bad as everyone thinks. He’s far worse.
This raises the question: what would it take to be worse? It’s hard to come up with criteria. More bellicose? Not sure that’s possible. More in the pocket of a hostile power? Less intelligent? Lazier? More ill-mannered? Less empathy for others? Try as I might, I can’t conceive how anyone beats him on any aspect of the race to the bottom. I can’t think of any politician who exhibits any single character trait worse than his. SO I have to concur, this is as bad as it can possibly get.

You could be worse, but you’d be removed via the 25th Amendment and then you wouldn’t be worse anymore. Trump is staggeringly corrupt, stupid, and emotionally unstable, but he manages to control himself enough to convince the Republicans he’ll give them what they want.
Trump is the first President ever who actually does not care about the United States or its people. You cannot theoretically be worse than that.
We haven’t yet gone to war with NoKo or Iran because of a late night rage. That’s something that could plausibly make him worse. Or as a distraction from Mueller, if that gets bad for him.
No credit to McConnell for a coldly calculated political decision. The Republicans best shot at holding that seat is to get Moore out and a strong write in campaign going, ASAP.
I attribute that more to a grasp of reality on the part of DPRK and Iranian leadership - a desire not to be nuked, and a lack of trust that the button can be kept away from his stubby little fingers.

I realise Democrat Doug Jones probably would’ve taken Moore in their Dec. 12 election because of this scandal, but I’m just so sick of seeing Reps left right and centre either defending or equivocating on Moore, so this news is a slightly refreshing change, for once.
ETA: Sure, there have been other anti-Moore Reps, like Comstock and Curbelo, but nowhere near enough of them.
No, that will just split the vote - some fairly large % (10-20 IMHO) are going to vote for Moore no matter what, because they believe that a good man is being smeared by the leftists and the establishment.

Some percentage would vote for Moore never having heard about the scandal or that there was a write-in campaign.
This guy has become Orange Freddy. We were setting up a blast shield to deal with an attack when I saw a flash off to the left and said “it’s over there”. But it was not a bomb going off, it was a flare from a silo. And then there were so many missiles launching that the air was haboob-grey from all the smoke and dust. I think the general anxiety is getting to me – he is invading my dreams now.
Ya know, this gives me an idea: if he’s still alive and not President someday, I bet Trump could star in a new set of Phantasm movies, in place of Angus Scrimm. His character could even be called The Orange Man, and all he’d have to do is leer creepily and slur a handful of words of dialogue for each movie. I bet they could even just CG in his voice convincingly, using a few samples of incoherent gibberish as a starting point for their algorithm. He’d be convincingly and confusingly terrifying in the low-budget-but-still-works way that the franchise is built on, IMO.
