The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Did they used to numbered? Everyone is #1 now. :smack:

It didn’t tell him what he wanted to hear, so it was labeled “fake”.

Future question: Should the FAKE NEWS media be allowed to GET AWAY with LYING to the American People? Sad!

So was mine. Where they asked for comments, I mentioned that even when I might agree with the sentiment, Donnie’s (yes, I used Donnie) hamfisted handling of the issues was akin to a bull in a china shop. Ooh, Donnie wants to side with Japan against North Korea. Alert the press, that’s a first. Maybe take the first step by not being a flaming hemorroid with your goofy, alpha-establishing handshake, President AssClown.

So - how long does it have to be that no evidence whatsoever can be found before we can acknowledge the NYT article (based on “anonymous source”) as “fake news”?

"House intelligence committee Chairman Devin Nunes said Monday he’s not see any evidence so far that Trump campaign officials had any contacts with Russian officials, contradicting public reports.

The California Republican said his committee has had a “long, ongoing” probe of Russian activities, which he had hoped wouldn’t become public. But based on news reports he was forced to make the probe public, and to expand it to include looking at the accusations against the Trump team.

Mr. Nunes said he had asked for evidence on three persons that reports said were involved in the conversations, and nothing has come back. While he refused to identify or speak for the investigative agencies, he said they don’t seem to have found anything themselves."

No longer than Donald Trump deems necessary. Why trust anyone else? Sure, maybe a Republican like Nunes might be trustworthy, since they have an R by their name, but wouldn’t we be better off just getting information strictly from Trump himself and no one else?

Heh.

Nunes was part of the Trump transition team. Nunes himself is compromised, part of the cover-up. He has no choice no but to go down with Trump’s sinking ship.

How long did was Secretary Clinton grilled about Benghazi and email servers? How long was President Obama questioned about his birth certificate?

“Witch hunt against the American people”?

“This is almost like McCarthyism revisited,” ?

Nunes is dumb, but not that dumb. His statements have stopped making sense because he is one scared little rabbit.

Hm. I wonder who those “others in the world” could be? You know, that are “right”?

"German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Saturday her country needs to meet its NATO obligation to spend 2 percent of gross domestic product on defense.

“Obligations have to be fulfilled,” Merkel said at a campaign rally Saturday. “And, others in the world will demand that of us. And, I think they’re right that Germany must uphold its obligations.”

Breaking news:

Okra,

your pile of hot garbage just said our military doesn’t win anymore, and doesn’t fight to win.

Any comment?

That too. Holy fuck!

“Presidentin’ is hard, y’all! This just don’t make no sense!”

Why do you think “we” is only the military? “We” is the USA.

And correct, “we” don’t win anything anymore. The last time I remember “we won” something was Grenada. Everything else “we” touch turns to crap. If not right away, then later. Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, on and on and on.

Correct, “we” don’t fight to win anymore. “Winning” is not even the stated goal. Have you even heard Obama talk about “winning” anything other than elections ever? The closest he came to it was “degrade and destroy” - and that didn’t get very far. Russia and Iran have to pick up the slack.

You know, now that you mention it, how is that Grenada Memorial coming along?

I think you’re on to something–has anyone ever thought to *try *to win? That might just be the missing element.

That’s rhetorical evasion, you’re attempting there, Gumbo. The military does the fighting. We support them, but it ain’t our asses that are directly on the line. It’s the soldiers who risk death and dismemberment. It’s the soldiers that Trump has repeatedly dishonored.

It was the soldiers who took ben Laden down, under Obama’s direction. That was a win, one of the biggest in recent times.

Don’t try to defend this treasonous, ignorant scum. Leave him on the curb with the rest of the trash, and start over with Pence.

I think this is more a matter of the changing nature of conflicts than of somehow not trying to win anymore. How do you “win” something where there’s nobody officially in charge of your adversaries?

This is a pattern. Trump says “A”. People with Trump Derangement Syndrome jump up and down claiming that he said “B” and condemning him for it.

Just the other day - Trump said “last night in Sweden”. His detractors jumped up and down claiming that he lied about a terrorist act. Where was any reference to any terrorism in what he said? None.

Same here.

Taking Bin Laden down was a skirmish. Trump was talking about winning wars. You know the difference right?
