He’s getting too old for this shit.
I haven’t done further research iinto it, but according to the CNN story i saw on this an hour ago, the recommendation to fire McCabe is actually coming from the FBI’s own internal procedures and investigations. Trump hates McCabe, and i’m sure he’ll lean on Sessions, but this isn’t coming from Trump, according to the CNN reporter.
I saw that as well. It may be true, but you would think the time for addressing the internal recommendation is long past. It now looks like sheer political pettiness – but then, this administration has shown that they are completely indifferent to optics.
Lol. CNN guy needs to read Dotard’s Twitter feed:
“FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is racing the clock to retire with full benefits. 90 days to go?!!!”
This has been posted a zillion times, but let me repost again:
I’m at a loss. Can anyone name any historical regnant in either American continent, as repulsive as Trump or who rivals Trump for an entire list of detestable faults?
And the Republicans adore him — voters, the top pundits and preachers, fervent “Christians.” All brought to us by liars and idiots who write “(D)” when an R does something they don’t like, who use Stephen Hawking as the go-to example of why U.S. healthcare is better than Britain’s. :smack:
In GQ, we’re allowed to call mosquitoes malaria vectors, no? We’re allowed to condemn the Nazi Party, hurricanes, Wells Fargo Bank and the Boston Strangler. I do understood the need for political correctness. Still, it stifles free discourse if we must pretend that Republicans are humanoid or have any whit of decency.
Does that Augusto dude come kind of close?
Baby Doc Duvalier comes to mind. (Papa Doc was a lot smarter than Trump.)
Pinochet still has the lead. He had tens of thousands of people tortured and thousands killed. But Trump just appointed a torturer to lead the CIA, so Trump is clearly gunning for the title.
Interestingly, Wiki informs me that one of the favorite tactics of Pinochet’s torturers was waterboarding.
Every conservative “value” and “principle” has been laid bare. Evangelicals now stand for sexual abuse and “financially responsible” republicans embrace deficit spending. All along, sane people called bullshit. Now, the hypocrites are standing naked before the nation in all their simpering, cowardly glory. Behold the liars exposed.
A pundit on CNN theorized Trump is hoping Sessions won’t fire McCabe so he has an excuse to fire Sessions.
No, no, no, it is not “sexual abuse”. Women need to learn their place. After that Eve slut caused the downfall of all humankind, no harpy deserves any kind of respect. If a man is to trespass upon a woman’s person, she shall appeal to her husband for redress to her dignity, should he be so inclined to defend her. Should she not have a husband, it is to her shame to have failed to find a man willing to let her honor him. This whole “sexual abuse” nonsense is heathen drivelings.
Fair and balanced Fox News is reporting a possible cabinet “bloodbath” by Friday. McMaster is a goner for sure but Trump may want to cull the herd in one fell swoop.
McMaster, Shulkin and Kelly could be next to go in White House ‘bloodbath,’ sources say
You can’t be a war profiteer without a war.
Trump has referred to the Cabinet meeting room as ‘the studio.’ http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/368311-trump-welcomes-media-to-cabinet-meeting-welcome-back-to-the-studio
What he’s picturing is a group of good-looking, smiling people who all treat him with great deference, and consistently provide telegenic Cabinet meetings full of praise for Trump.
What he’s tired of is a bunch of bozos who grab headlines with their dining-set-ordering and private-jet-traveling and posing-with-new-currency-sheets and all the other shenanigans that take away attention from HIM. Those losers fail to understand that the purpose of the Cabinet is to make him look good and feel good.
The new Cabinet will be a lot better. A lot.
I know what you’re saying although McMaster’s likely replacement, John Bolton, is not exactly a Brad Pitt lookalike.
They’ve always stood for sexual abuse.
Frequently, they have to do so “widely.”
Sometimes lying down.
Emails confirm the esteemed Doctor HUD did, in fact, pick out his $30,000 office dining set…with the gracious help of his wife.
Trump may have reached the point where his new paradigm is “I’m the M-Fing President of the United States and I don’t have to listen to SHIT! Even you, Vladimir! Hear me? None of it, so fuck all of y’all!”
