9th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Stephen Reinhardt died this week. Jeff Greenfield recently said on PBS Newshour that Reinhardt was apparently one of the most liberal judges in the country, and his position, along with seven other from that court, are part of the 100 federal vacancies that McConnell is sooooo chomping on the bit to fill, like, A.S.A.F’N.P., that he’ll flout a long-standing tradition in the Senate that a home senator can block a federal judge from his or her state along with the spectre of President Dumb chomping on his bit for Ginsburg and Kennedy to somehow disappear, which would enable President Gulag to reshape the Court in what Greenfield calls what would be by far the most consequential political action The Orange Bum will have taken so far.
