The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Sounds like a blame the victim mentality. It’s the Democrats’ fault that the Republicans are such shits?

And that’s the problem there. You have the later group hiding in the former group, while telling the former group that we despise them because of who they are associated with.

Do you have a choice in how they react to your actions?

I didn’t mean to imply that they are oblivious, only that, no matter what we do, their reaction will be the same. So, since they’ll scream and howl and gnash in any event, it’s better to hold them accountable than to appease them. At the very least, the lesson that elections have consequences would not be soon forgotten.

I also did not intend that anger be the endpoint, but as a starting point for action. While repairing the damage lately done to the environment, (probably) to Medicare and Medicaid, to womens’ rights, and to the long-term stability of the US economy, no consideration at all should be given to how the more strident Trump supporters feel. They’re the ones who broke everything. Put 'em in timeout like any other tantrum-throwing toddler.

This.

But don’t stop at impeachment and dismissal. Send his traitor ass to prison. For conspiring with Putin to defraud the U.S., the emoluments clause, racketeering, conflict of interest, and high treason. Lock up his family and all his cronies too. They’re all dirty as fuck.

Their “halcyon days of youth” never existed, so there is no way for to return there. The past they want us to go back to is a damned lie.

I was there.

But you still have to say “pew pew pew”. OK?

I agree this is probably true, and Mueller is on his way to proving it. I hope they dig back decades.

They are, and according to reports, after the Cohen raid, they have already found ties to the Russian mob and the Mafia.

Remember last August when Cohen/Trump associate Felix Sater was saying he and Trump were going to jail?

Do tell…

Not for the first time and not for the last on this board, it’s worth quoting Twitter-maven David Roberts:

I believe this is more of a ‘human’ tendency rather than a ‘white straight Christian male’ tendency. But since in our culture it’s the wsCm’s who are privileged, then it’s the wsCm’s who scream loudest when told others are their equals.

A cozy little “club” called “El Caribe”, which was a well-known meeting spot for members of Italian and Russian organized crime families … . From the 70s through the 90s at least, the bosses of the Russian mafia in the U.S. literally ran their crime organization out of the El Caribe.

It was owned by Dr. Morton Levine , Cohen’s uncle. According to Levine, who is still alive, several of his nieces and nephews including Cohen have a stake in ownership of the club — that is until recently when Cohen gave up his stake just before Trump entered the White House.

Hey, I hearda El Caribe! I’m having fun. Are rest of you having fun?

I need to get more beer. I’m all set on popcorn though. A person can live on that, right?

I’ve tried and it didn’t kill me. The guys who built the pyramids basically lived on beer and onions.

No, but they do.

While I’m whisking?

Didn’t they have bread, too?

But you didn’t think to include, “Yes, women are as capable as men”? Or “Yes, blue-collar and red-necked workers need support”? Or “Yes, now we have to address rural as well as urban development”?

Yes, there is away of reaching a large number of Trump voters, but that requires acknowledging that he did get well over 40% of the popular vote, and they aren’t all boomers sucking the country dry with their social security and medicare.

Possibly, but remember that’s half of what the “beer” was about - liquid bread that didn’t need cooking. The other half, of course, was it got them smashed.

Beer in quotes because it really had very little in common with what we modern folk call beer (even the Budweiser drinkers, sorely mistaken as they might be)
