What I think the Dems should be hammering on, every single day, is that ICE agents are literally breaking down doors and detaining US citizens without a warrant. The 4A violation are incredible. And the message should be that if a brown citizen doesn’t have 4A protections in his home, neither do you.
And I’ve landed a blow against my MAGA relatives by pointing out that if the extraordinary circumstances around illegal immigrants justify trampling the 4th, then the same argument applies to the 2nd in light of mass shootings.
They generally just get upset and can’t really respond to that.
