I think we white non-supremacist milk-drinkers will be fine if we just go on drinking milk in a normal, non-ostentatious way without making a big deal of it. Lots of non-supremacists of all races drink milk.
Anyway, putting their fellow white people at some slight risk of having their milk-consuming actions misconstrued as a racist dogwhistle is very far from the worst thing that white supremacists are doing nowadays.
True. But they have always hacked a lot of things I love: medieval history, Celtic Studies, Norse Studies, and Classics (not so much in academia, but elsewhere), werewolves, blackletter fonts… it’s like they’re following me around and tainting all of my nerdly joys.
Fight back by learning and disseminating information about the significant roles played by nonwhite people in all of those areas! And/or endorse race-inclusive representations of the people engaged in those areas. Nothing pisses off white supremacists faster than seeing white people genuinely interested in and acknowledging the important roles of nonwhite people in history.
Oh, believe me, I do. I work in an academic department in a major university, and I am pleased to say that we are all committed to being anti-white supremacist; it’s an important part of my day job.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a memo Wednesday stating that federal immigration agents should arrest refugees who have not yet obtained a green card and detain them indefinitely for rescreening — a policy shift that upends decades of protections and puts tens of thousands of people who entered during the Biden administration at risk.
The new policy rescinds a 2010 memo that said failing to apply for status as a lawful permanent resident within a year of living in the United States is not a basis for detaining refugees who entered the country legally. Two Trump administration officials wrote in the new directive that the previous guidance was incomplete and that the law requires DHS to detain and subject those refugees to a new set of interviews while in detention.

I like some of these and agree with you that it’s sad, but on the other hand, I’m somewhat glad that they also have a hate-on for modern architecture. (For instance, the administration specifically prohibiting Brutalism in federal building, which seems oddly specific.) I guess what would be even better is if they didn’t have an opinion either way on classical versus modern architecture, but it’s better that some of them make classical architecture part of their personality than modern.
