The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

How did you like this bit?

It does not require much imagination to list those.

At this point, I think most of the US Congress can fairly be called “The State Duma”

Da Pope is rebuking Donald again.

Good for His Holiness.

Outstanding. Let’s hear what War Criminal Hegseth has to say in response.

I didn’t see this one coming. Now the felon wants to yank birthright citizenship from Native Americans.

Vance is going to try to have Representative Omar extradited to Somaliland, not Somalia.

And what was the fraud she committed? It’s certainly not what the felon’s flack Vance says.

So, don’t tell me Trump, Vance, and the rest of the sounder aren’t bigots. They’re racist first and foremost. The religious bigotry is just icing on the cake.

Architects compare the big bullshit ballroom to the Winchester Mystery House.

Like Escher? Cool!

Elk v. Wilkins was made moot by the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924, an act of the United States Congress that declared Native Americans born within the United States are US citizens. Ya know, one of the ways that SCotUS decisions can be overturned.
But we all know how much God Emperor Trump respects the Congress and it’s supposed power to enact so called “laws”.

Has he trotted out the Dredd Scott decision yet?

Or the house Tevye would build if he was a rich man.

I went with Winchester Mystery House because it has stairs leading nowhere and its construction was ordered by an insane person.

MC Escher, eh? My actual surname is a Scottish name so let’s pretend it’s Mc Monty as it would be spelled on my passport. The school where I teach in Beijing has facial recognition for entering the school grounds. Evidently, the program has decided I have a rapper name. It scans my face, then says, “Welcome, ‘Em Cee’ Monty!”

When I used to work at Jack in the Box, we had a digital sound system that provided music for the lobby, controlled by a big clunky VCR-looking box in the office. It would display the title and artist of the current song on an LCD screen. The firmware in the system undersood that sometimes music publishers would list an artist’s name in the format “Lastname, Firstname”, and if it encountered that format it would correct it to “Firstname Lastname” on the display.

This was all well and good until one day it was playing a song by Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, which it presented as being performed by “Stills, Nash, & Young Crosby”.

I was in a band once, and we did a gig where the singer decided (for
reasons I can’t remember) that we were going to be called MC2
for that night only. When we got there, we were billed as “Mc Squared”.

A band of brothers.

C’mon, you know Kegbreath is going to dismiss Leo XIV as a “papist” and not a real Christian.

Really? I’ve been hearing that from the Christian Nationalist Trumpists in my neck of the woods. Because, of course the Native Americans aren’t US citizens - they aren’t White and some of 'em are probably still doing thir heathen worship. Anyhow, they’re a conquered people and the conquered don’t have any rights we don’t give 'em! And so on. Excuse me…

 :face_vomiting:

No. Escher was an actual genius and his constructions had an underlying principal and/or point to make.

Trump is just a fuck-up.

It’s all over the country; just google things like “Native Americans” + Illegals or “Native Americans” + ICE. This is about ethnic cleansing, not immigration; and Native Americans predictably are one of the groups targeted.

In ten, twenty years I expect there won’t be anybody left in American territory except white Christians and corpses.

I think the idea is to use that precedent to remove birthright citizenship from some people including the born-in-America children of undocumented immigrants), not just screw over Native Americans.

We put fascists into power; we have no reason to think that Neo-Nazis want anything different than the original Nazis did. A “Final Solution”. There’s no need to try to think of convoluted explanations for their actions when the obvious one is right there.
