No, but he can get a lot of people killed trying to do it anyways, and that at least pushes their date of reckoning back a ways. We’ll be in “Hitler in the Bunker” territory with some of these military plans. Follow the orders, and try to hide the casualty numbers from Trump.

Why hasn’t the destruction of the Forest Service gotten any notice?

Indeed, he is good at making pronouncements about how his policies and actions will make “us” rich, but only his rubes fail to understand that it’s the royal “we.” 
I’m not sure they’re really surprised by that. As has been mentioned before:
Yeah these are people who have internalized that getting used and discarded is a normal, natural part of the career ecosystem and then you move on to whatever’s the next scheme where you can fit.
And really, if you grift enough during your tenure, it does not really matter what the future holds, because you’ll have plenty of cash. Cry all the way to the bank.

Trump budget requests $152 million to renovate Alcatraz Island as a federal prison.
He’s all excited about the prospect of housing his Most Hated there: Hillary, Nancy Pelosi, Letitia James, Jack Smith, James Comey, etc.
And he’ll want them to be plenty worried about the sharks circling Alcatraz.

Trump asked for a $1.5 trillion military budget in the 2027 fiscal year, an increase of 40% over the current budget. Meanwhile, he’s seeking cuts in domestic spending, particularly anything that might benefit minorities. The New York Times said, “In some cases, the White House framed its cuts as part of a broader campaign to protect taxpayer dollars and prevent government waste and fraud.”
Because of course there’s no waste or fraud in the defense budget, especially not when it’s increased by that large an amount.
I assume this completely legal, but it seems icky.
