She’s the same person now she was a few years ago. I’m still not sure if she was a true believer who became disillusioned with Trump or that she turned on him because he refused to support her greater political ambitions. Anything that helps the GOP fight amongst itself is nice though.

Greene 100% believed that Democratic and business elites were all Satanic pedophiles who fed on the blood of children via their network of transcontinental tunnels in pizzerias and donut shops and space lasers and slave colonies on Mars, and that Trump had gotten himself elected so he could work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring them down. The whole reason she was in favor of releasing the Epstein files in the first place was because she thought it would prove that Trump was innocent and it was the Clintons and the Obamas who were the evil masterminds.
It never occurred to her that the party she was aligning herself with on this noble mission are nihilists who stand for nothing and will happily exploit lunatics like her to get more power for themselves, let alone that the real child traffickers were actively promoting the nonsense she believed in to draw attention away from themselves.
Like how are we supposed to interpret it when she comes out there and says she definitely wasn’t Epstein’s sloppy seconds? What are we going to do this with, especially since she’s the one that brought it up? One would think she’d be proud of that relationship, it’s probably the last time she… well, even though this is the Pit I don’t want to get too harsh here so let’s say… the last time she was actually satisfied by what a man could offer her. (I don’t know how well Epstein was… equipped but it has to be at least 4 to 8x what Trump is packing.) Of course she wasn’t Epstein’s victim. It’s hard to be a victim and a willing participant at the same time.

So, if we assume that CBS News is to the maladministration as Pravda was to the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, this is a rather interesting story. It calls out Pete Hegseth by name as someone who lied about the Kuwait drone attack described in the story.
When I saw this, I wondered if this might be a way to express displeasure from the maladministration about Hegseth’s showing as SecDef. Then I wondered if anyone else was wondering the same thing. So I went to Polymarket and found their bets that Pete Hegseth will be out of his post as of April 30, June 30 and December 31st. I’ve never used Polymarket before, so I may be wrong in what I’m seeing - but it certainly seems that both the June and December “Hegseth out” contracts had an uptick by several percentage points each today.
I guess we can hope…

The general feeling seems to be that Pete “NOW I AM BECOME DEATH, DESTROYER OF WORLDS” Hegseth is on the way out for failing to deliver the instant, total, complete perfect victory that Trump’s ego demanded.
Otherwise, Trump might have to actually take responsibility for something himself, and we CAN’T have that.
