He makes up for it by grabbing 5 minutes at a time here and there, during meetings, briefings and such throughout the day.
How in the every loving fuck is this a security concern? Energy independence and a better environment makes us more secure. What a moron.
The story is windmills interfere with radar. If true (and when has this regime lied to us?), there might be reason to oppose offshore ones that could provide cover for incoming ships/planes/missiles. If someone is using onshore ones as interference, we’re already screwed.
Here’s a study on it. I’m not brainy enough to know if it’s valid.

Truly.
For whatever reason, the man with the absolute worst taste in history doesn’t like the looks of them. Mostly because he didn’t get his way in Scotland because there were windmills offshore of his golf club and they wouldn’t remove them.
This is nothing more than another one of his temper tantrums.
Screwing up energy production. I wonder when he will attack EV panels on houses. Oh, he already has by removing the tax credit. Golly, I wonder what industry could possibly be influencing him.
I remember Trump claiming back in the 90s that he only slept four hours a night. Is it possible he once said something that wasn’t a lie?
I’ve noticed over the course of my life that the less I sleep the dumber I am. Prone to making mistakes and idiotic decisions. It’s all beginning to make sense…
Never mind, post deleted. (A PARTICULAR fuck-up may not be Trump’s.)
I heard once that more intelligent people typically need more sleep than average. Makes sense in trump’s case.
It’s probably true that he is sleep deprived. But he was trying to brag - “He only needs 4 hours of sleep a night to make these wonderful decisions!”
No you are destroying our country. And frankly, you’re such a moron it’s gonna happen no matter how much sleep he gets. I wish he would sleep all freaking day.
Previously, I was a programmer(retired now). If I only had 4 hours sleep, I would call in a sick or vacation day.
Yes. There are people who genuinely need much less sleep than other people, called “short sleepers”. They sleep less, wake up refreshed and show none of the effects of sleep deprivation. Makes me jealous, honestly.
But that’s rare, only about a percent of the population. Most people who sleep four hours a night are suffering sleep deprivation, with all the negative physical and mental effects thereof. And Trump is definitely the sort to not sleep enough, brag about how that makes him superior, and ignore any medical advice to the contrary.
Being sleep deprived is not really the issue here. But I’m sure it doesn’t help.
Trump Gaza Resorts and Golf Courses no going so well.
So much winning. “The closing of the Civil-Military Coordination Center in Israel would mark the latest blow to President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan, already undermined by repeated Israeli attacks since the October truce and a refusal by Hamas to lay down its arms.” US to close its flagship Gaza mission as Trump plan stalls
Don’t worry, shipping companies, Iran isn’t shooting at any freighters except for the ones they’re shooting at.
I see he hasn’t dropped the “We don’t need ANYBODY’s help here, but FOR GOD’S SAKE! SOMEBODY HELP US!!!” tactic yet.
Smart. Shrewd. Crafty. Strategic.

According to Josh Fiallo of The Daily Beast, there were only five days in April in which Trump didn’t shoot off a tweet on Truth Social between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
He’s been doing all this stuff when he’s supposed to be sleeping; no wonder he falls asleep during the day.
How exactly does one “shoot down” a boat?
Well, you see, if they’re not floating at the bottom…
^ This.
An anology, "Your neighbor, accoss the street, that is armed and want’s to kill you? Don’t worry, it’s safe to walk down the street.
(from Politico)
The U.S. military “blew up” six small Iranian boats after its forces launched “multiple cruise missiles, drones and small boats” at the ships but did not hit them, according to U.S. Central Command head Adm. Bradley Cooper, who leads America’s operations in the region. He did not say what impact this would have on the ceasefire.
Impact? I suppose he’s speaking about reaction. And now we’re launching small boats at small boats? So sinking them with wave wash-over? Try clipping the ankle straps from their surfboards.
ETA: That wording makes no sense. So the Iranians swung and missed three times and had their little boats blown up.

“No president has ever taken a cognitive test except me. I’ve taken three of them. They’re hard.”
“They did a poll on the war with Iran and they said only 32% of people like it. Well, I don’t like it.”
“Some people would say that’s a curtain, under that curtain is a window. Outside of that window is the new ballroom. So I said I’ll leave, I’ll get out of here, and if you guys want to see a beautiful structure going up, complex, safe, things that could never happen like happened a week ago, that was a bad situation. You can’t have 1,000 units over the ballroom with an entrance right next to where you are for a lot of reasons, so if you want, we’re going to open that up.”
