Pulte seems to have been the attack dog who was feeding confidential mortgage information to Trump’s Department of Political Persecution so that info could be used as the basis for bullshit charges. Now he’s in charge of every intelligence agency in the US. Well, what’s the worst thing that could happen?
There are many times when I feel that Trump’s inner 13-year-old has taken over. Putting that UFC monstrosity on the White House lawn was one time. But I think he’s also got a bad case of it over his Ballroom Complex. I can just hear the inner kid enthusing about it.
“It’s got an underground bunker that’s full of cameras and screens and controls. And up to the roof, it’s gonna have a Drome Port! We’ll use it as a launching pad for our drones, and we’ll take out any planes or missiles they throw at us.”
No consideration about how, five years ago, Trump bristled at the suggestion that he might retreat into the safety of an underground bunker. And no thought now about the advisability of putting a military target right on top of the White House.
He’s never had to actually grow up. He’s never faced consequences for his behavior and is too narcissistic to even consider his dignity or the dignity of his office; everything he does is wonderful and perfect by definition. He’s just a toddler that is about to turn 80.
And while we’re at it, can we address the advisability of telling everyone about it?
It used to be that the WH defenses were considered secret, because of that whole “Enemies figuring out how to defeat them” problem. You’d hear rumours about what they had, but it was never more than rumours. Now we’ve got the frickin’ president just babbling about them on the internet.
When he talks about the ballroom like this he sounds like a ten year old talking about a G.I. Joe toy from 1988.
Precisely my point, only I assumed a 13 year old.
13 year olds are much more mature than Trump.
That was my first thought when I read about the Drone Port: Why not just paint a big bullseye on the roof instead? Cheaper, and he result will be about the same.

Bedbugs have infested the Animal and Plant Inspection Service, which is charged with containing invasive pests. Karma! It’s not a free article, but you should be able to get the meat of the issue. I remember that Mar-a-Lago was said to have bedbugs.
One of the more compelling reasons to have your washing machine in your bathroom is that when come home from places like Mar-é-cage Mar-a-Lago you can empty your suitcase directly into the bathtub, throw the clothes you are wearing right into it too, so the bugs cannot escape into your living quarters, and then stuff it all quickly and carefully into the washing machine, where the problem is solved at 90°C with the push of a button.
Then don’t forget to take a hot and thorough shower. You’ll feel much better.
And now everyone can watch the secret bunker being built. From the photo, it looks like the bunker has been dug out. How do they plan to put something bigger than the White House in that space?

No matter how ghastly the total of Donald’s depredations on girls and women over the years, I would suspect that he’s not doing so much in the ‘affairs’ department these days. Certainly not in the Le Petomane class, anyway.
The very instant Rip va Simple assassinated Iran’s supreme leader, the White House became a legitimate military target, at least as far as Iran is concerned.
Most likely answer: they never planned to put anything at all into it. The felon insisted the place is a dump. And now he’s turned it into one.
But he (and Putin) don’t think like that. They are allowed to murder anyone they like, but somebody hitting back? That’s unthinkable. So they keep normalizing political violence because they consider themselves immune.
When he bulldozes the White House, they can just scrape the rubble right into that hole.
