The Trump administration is planning to withhold SNAP benefits to recipients in most Democratic states, possibly as soon as next week, as those states have refused to provide the administration with personal details of their recipients, including names and immigration status.
The administration first demanded that information back in February, and the affected states have sued to block the requirement.

Hilarity aside, they can’t even be bothered to run things past even a basic spell check. How many such issues have been made over the last year? Seems to happen with alarming frequency considering they are “only the best people”
Pete Hegseth is throwing the Admiral who executed the attack on the drug boat back in September for the second strike to kill any survivors. Trump and Leavitt are backing Hegseth. This will inspire confidence in our troops that their leaders will have their back for any and all illegal orders. “That’s a bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see how it plays out”
This just proves Hegseth is a weak and cowardly leader. Soldiers have no respect for that. My prediction is he’s out of the job in less than 2 weeks.

Donald doesn’t remotely care what the soldiers think about Hegseth. Word is that Donald is determined to avoid the headlines he got in his first term (in which his appointees fell like autumn leaves). He doesn’t want to “give any scalps” to either Democrats or the press.
By clinging to the execrable Hegseth he may be accelerating his own…well, nervous breakdown, as the evidence of how hated he is accumulates. When the big-money donors decide Donny isn’t worth it, Donny will know it. And feel it.

How can you actually have Schrödinger’s documents? If you know you have them, then they’re no longer Schrödinger’s documents. And that would destroy the very fabric of the universe.
The law requires the documents to be made accessible to the public within 30 days of its being passed, so they have until December 19th.
OK so Hegseths claim is that due to the fog of war they didn’t know there were any survivors. So the obvious next follow up question is “why the second strike then?” do you regularly waste missiles, that cost tens of thousands of dollars a pop, to shoot burning lifeless debris?
With those tiny hands and that bulk to get one around? He probably has a flunky to do that for him, and heave him back up from his throne.
