The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

“Beautiful little bodies”

“Countless fanelives”

Creepy grandpa.

Sundowning pedophile.

IMHO what did it was stolen documents. Garland was desperate not to appear partisan and so wanted to work his way up to Trump slowly if at all. But once it became clear that Trump had unsecured Top Secret documents in his possession, he had to act for national security and so he sent the FBI raid. After sending the raid he pretty much had to indict him for the stolen documents. You can’t raid somebody’s house and not charge them with anything. At that point, the line had been crossed and so any damage that appearing partisan might have had already been dealt so you might as well try him for Jan 6th as well.

I’d like the five minutes of my life that I spent on that unnecessary clarification back, please.
:face_with_monocle:

You’d just waste it.

I’m pretty sure that Garland’s actual goal was to slow-walk everything as much as possible, in hopes that Trump would get int power and kill the investigation. The primary goal of the Democrats for decades has been to protect and enable the Republicans, there’s no way they’d run an investigation that did more than make a show to appease the public but led nowhere.

So they’re playing the “good cop, bad cop” game?

More the abusive partner and the codependent victim seeking to placate them.

Trump administration rolls back the Clean Air Act.

As of mid-July, the administration had granted Clean Air Act exemptions to about 200 polluting facilities across 39 states and Puerto Rico, issuing its decisions in presidential proclamations full of typos and errors. In one case, a factory that doesn’t appear to exist received an exemption. The factories and plants that were given a temporary pass on Clean Air Act rules, while scattered across the country, fall disproportionately in majority nonwhite neighborhoods, according to EPA and U.S. Census Bureau data collected by the Environmental Defense Fund.

Yep, SCOTUS lets the dictator dictate.

And who, then, does have the legal right? The states are the ones in charge of the elections.

Another day, another salvo in the war on immigrants.

Evidently Pirro is just about as competent as the Felon in the Oval. (The formatting is from the link.)

Who told you that, Don the Con? Perhaps it was those two Corinthian dudes?

Money might not grow on trees, but the felon’s dysadministration believes hot dogs do.

Deportees refused to deplane in Liberia. Guess what happened next. (The italicized bolding is mine.)

Cruelty is not only the point, it’s the entire m.o.

Speaking of which…

FYI: The US government itself considers the CAR a “do not travel to” country.

I did notsee this one coming. (The bolding is mine.)

The felon in the oval really doesn’t understand free and fair.

TL;DR: If the courts let us cheat, we’ll win everything.

Even helping the US government doesn’t protect someone from the US government.

One year old expected to represent themself.

Surprise! Sur…oh, the heck with it. Rioter pardoned by the felon gets arrested for rioting.

I bet every single one of you already knows what the “NSFW” slur was.

I give you the hallucinator-in-chief. (The formatting is from the liniked article.)

This calls to mind the Spaghetti Tree prank pulled by the BBC in 1957 and later reprised by David Frost on That Was the Week That was in 1962. (I saw the latter on TV.)

Or Big Top Pee-Wee.

Dr. Ben Carson. Proof that you do not have to be super smart to be a brain surgeon.

(He actually was a very competent brain surgeon. That doesn’t make him automatically competent or qualified at anything else.)

It’s not exactly rocket science…

Would be interesting if it was, though.

Unfortunately Elon Musk has beaten you to the brain surgery…

Although “his” rocket science is more publicised.
