The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

“The FBI has reportedly relaxed hiring standards that previously automatically disqualified applicants who admitted to hiring prostitutes, engaging in bestiality, or stealing from an employer.”

Well Demento Don can now qualify post- presidency on at least two of those relaxed standards. Horse fucking probably won’t come up unless the Epstein Files are released unredacted.

Reminds me of an old joke.

It’s even fine if you paid the horse afterwards.

You wouldn’t even have to say you paid the horse to leave, rather than paying for sex.

Google Maps has already changed the name of Lake Ontario. I deleted the app in disgust, but Apple Maps still sucks balls. Dammit.

My speculation is he gets bribes to sign the go aheads on these renovation projects. Somebody “donates” a million dollars to Trump and he signs a multi-million dollar contract for an unneeded project that will be paid for by taxpayers. Trump and the renovation company make money and the rest of us pay the bill.

His fee fees where hurt by everyone canceling. If he takes the tarp down, and it shows his name is gone, it will roar back to life.

Also the remodel sort of gives him an excuse to leave the tarps up. And he thinks the re model will give him an excuse to put his name on it.

Renovations while occupancy continues are more not less expensive because working around the occupants is hard. So I’m not sure this works. Renovating while keeping the Center open would have been an opportunity for one of Trump’s buddies to charge an extra zero.

You don’t really think there’s any actual renovation going on, do you? “Rename” and “renovate” are the same thing in the pinhead’s mind. It’s like algebra’s *If a-b, then b=a". If he’s not allowed to renov…er, rename it, then he will tear it down, say it’s renovation but holding out for the new replacement building to have his name on it.

But, hey, you might get a new pet rock out of his other “project”

G20 meeting is yet another venue for the felon’s war on journalism.

More on the war on the first amendment

Even a leading conservative wants the felon in the oval out of the oval.

Petulant child wants to ban products from the 51st state.

Would it be amiss if I were to remind the convict he’s one of those other presidents?

But, not to worry; the felon has a fool proof plan! Well, a fool’s plan.

Under war criminal Pete, the leadership ranks are as empty as his soul.

Never said I did. I merely said there was an obsession with it.

Those words do not belong together in a sentence.

Reminds of the pieces of the Berlin Wall that are still being sold to tourists today. I think I want a ballroom paperweight too, but only after it has been thoroughly exorcised.
BTW: The Berlin Wall pieces were mostly smaller than a paperweight, Mr. Krasner is being generous. And the pieces were more expensive if they showed paint, claiming it was original graffiti. I bet the paperweights will be most coveted if they show traces of fake gilding and are made of cheap plaster painted as marble.

How do you* think you can charge tariffs if you don’t import the goods, you idiot?
* you, evidently, is Chieftain Ineptstein, as the quote is a nested quote.

Heh. Trump thinks that “American” businesses operating in Canada can just pick up stakes and move to the US.

Well, no, they cannot. Canadian business law prevents American businesses from running Canadian branches from the US. “General Motors of Canada Inc.” is a Canadian company, incorporated in Canada. “Ford Motors of Canada Inc.” is a Canadian company, incorporated in Canada. Yes, the American owners of the shares in these Canadian companies (i.e. GM and Ford, respectively) own the shares, but have little say in these entirely separate corporations’ day-to-day business.

When Trump says that he’s wanting American corporations operating in Canada to return to the United States, he’s displaying his ignorance once again. Because what he thinks are American corporations operating in Canada, are actually Canadian corporations operating in Canada. Canadian business law 101: American corporations in Canada are not American. They are not allowed to be.

I recall working (in Canada) for a US-based company in Toronto that gave us US holidays: no Canada Day, no Canadian Thanksgiving, but instead, we got the Fourth of July and American Thanksgiving. That company was shut down pretty quickly once the Ontario Government got wind of that. Yeah, we all lost our jobs, but there was a certain amount of schadenfreude attached to the “Americans operating here must adhere to our labour laws, and if you do not, you won’t be allowed to operate in Canada.”

That’s just an example of where Trump’s “American companies operating in Canada should just move back to the US” falls flat. The companies he’s referring to are not American at all, they are Canadian corporations, as corporate records show. American companies cannot tell their Canadian subsidiaries what to do. The roadblock is that those Canadian corporations operate under an entirely different corporate structure than the American parent. In other words, and putting it simply, even if a business is nominally American, it isn’t really. Canadians retain control of all companies operating inside Canada.

Enough for now.

What about the flip-side of this? Are there Canada-based companies operating in the United States? Or American subsidiaries of Canadian companies in the United States? (BMO Bank comes to mind, I think. )

If so, that’s an opportunity for Trump to start harassing those businesses.

After joining the FBI, you’d think I’d be known as “John Smith, FBI Agent”.

But nooooo-- you fuck one horse…

Is it only the horses? The article mentions “bestiality”.

How about furniture? Could you fuck a couch?

How about the tax payers? Is an employee of the FBI, say the director, allowed to fuck the tax payers?

Presumably several employees of the FBI have spouses or lovers, and those would be tax payers

I’ll buy one if they let me throw it at him.

Just curious: in what sense are they American corporations?
