The draft policy posted online by Kennedy’s Department of Health and Human Services covers a handful of injectable peptides promoted within the wellness industry for uses such as building muscle, healing injuries and boosting energy. The government will take comments for two weeks before finalizing the measure.
The document, primarily written by officials at HHS, faced overwhelming pushback among FDA drug staffers who warned it could undermine the agency’s long-standing mission of keeping unsafe health products off the U.S. market, according to the people familiar with its development.

Speaking on Fox News’ Hannity , Waltz said the diplomat would be sent back to Cuba within 24 hours. “He’s gone. He is going to be on a plane to Havana within the next 24 hours,” Waltz said.
The announcement follows a heated confrontation on Tuesday between U.S. and Cuban officials at the United Nations, where Waltz accused representatives of the Cuban government of attempting to disrupt his speech.
This is the United States government ejecting a member of the Cuban delegation to the United Nations for something that occurred at the United Nations. This is petulant and abusive. If the Secretary-General of the United Nations had requested it, then that would be a different story. And it’s not like the current US administration hasn’t abused a country’s diplomats before.
