For example, where did he learn to use the proper terminology to describe Western rapist-barbarians in such vivid zoological terms; how often he visits Pyongyang; and whether counter-revolutionaries are always getting on his case at work.
I read this as “as long as you do what you are told, you’ll be left alone by those in power”.
That’s true in any society, free or not.
