The TV series: Fargo

We didn’t have a single thread for all of S1, but here’s the thread for the first ep:

Fargo - S01E01 [open spoilers]

Strongly disliked. It’s as if they made a version of the movie with less compelling and unbelievable, characters, a worse story, and what’s almost certain to be unnecessarily long. I loved the movie and I can’t view the show as anything but an insult to everything that the movie did so well–and that’s despite the creator’s blessing. I’ll give it at least one more episode to be sure, but I am not happy with what I’ve seen thus far.

Fargo S2

Premieres Oct. 12 on FX. Looks like it’ll be a prequel, of sorts: - YouTube Patrick Wilson is playing the Keith Carradine character from S1 as a young Minn. State Trooper: Fargo (TV series) - Wikipedia. You can briefly see little Molly (I presume that’s her) in the back of his car in the trailer.

Fargo S3

It’s set in 2010 and will premiere on April 19. Looks like a great cast.

Fargo S4
