Watching Scrubs on Netflix and a running joke on there is how much Dr. Cox hates Hugh Jackman. What’sthe inside joke?

Cox harbors an intense hatred for Hugh Jackman, even going so far as to mention him frequently in his rants about things he hates throughout the series. According to a 2006 interview with McGinley, Cox’s reason for hating Jackman may be because Bill Lawrence envies the actor’s talent.

I somehow recall that McGinley was in line to play Wolverine until Jackman came along.

I don’t believe so unless you have a citation for it. I thought at one point that Jackman had beaten McGinley for an award or something, but I think it is just someone Bill Lawrence thought would be funny for Cox to dislike.
