The TV Show that always makes me laugh

I think the only TV show I have ever watched that makes me laughs insanely EVERY TIME I watch it is Who’s Line Is It Anyways? … the one with Drew Carry. Oh man, I think that has to be the funniest show ever made. The only other show I’ve watched that comes close is of course the good ole Simpsons .

Love it too…but I like the original Brit version best. But Drew has come closest to re-creating it…not like that stupid Kwik-wits show that tried to Americanize the concept.

I am sure to be made fun of, but here goes:

Everybody Loves Raymond

The parents, Marie and Frank, just kill me!

Wenis, you have just hit on the most deserving yet unappreciated show on TV!

My wife can’t understand most of why I’m sitting in my recliner with tears running down my face, but she sure loves it when Wayne Brady starts to sing!

And now that I have a dish I can watch two episodes every weeknight - FOUR episodes on Thursday!

I think if it wasn’t for the laughter I get out of that show, I’d go absolutely crazy at work dealing with my boss!

Thanks for a well deserved kudo to Drew and the gang.

If they could just get rid of Drew Carey (funny as he is on his sitcom), Who’s Line Is It Anyway? would be okay. The British version is still funnier by far.

Me? I haven’t found many recent sitcoms that even get a chuckle out of me (Drew Carey and King of Queens being occasional exceptions). I still laugh when watching reruns of All In The Family and Night Court.

Friends and, of course, The Simpsons.

I like the WWF shows, especially the segments where The Rock, Kurt Angle, Booker T or Golddust are the focal points.

Jerry Lawler used to be very funny. Now he is just mean and vicious. nothing is wrong of that in of itself, but he is that way to the so-called heels, when he is supposed to be the heel announcer. What he did to Molly Holly (Nora Greenwald) is unforgivable

Moving this to Cafe Society which we are now renaming the “Whose Line Is It Anyway” forum, at least until the next LOTR movie comes out.

This thread makes me nostalgic for “Seinfeld”, the only show besides “Whose Line Is It Anyway” that made me laugh out loud.

You won’t hear me making fun of you; I love that show. I always laugh out loud at least once in every epsiode, which is more than I can say for just about every other show on nowadays. I guess there’s a “backlash” against it since it’s a pretty straightforward sitcom and not “edgy” enough or something. I say to hell with that, it should be enough just to be funny.

As for the OP, I think the British version of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” is slightly better than the American one, if only because it takes them a little bit longer before they degenerate into just one sex joke after the other.

I think Colin Mochrie is the funniest guy on tv. I think of the time they were doing a sketch about an Australian nuclear plant and he was supposed to be stealing some radium. The others were struggling with Australian accents and he came in, speaking in his normal voice and explained that the needed the radium to get his Australian accent back. The other comedians were laughing as hard as me.

Or the time he did a press conference as Santa Claus, announcing his retirement… (“What about all the little people who depend on you?”
“Screw 'em! I’m out for myself.”)

Ryan Stiles lives in my county (although I’ve never seen him here). A few months ago he brought most of the regulars to our local theatre for a show. And by the time I heard about it it was sold out, dammit.
