He didn’t possess her body like he did with Klaus. He communed one spirit to another.
So I was told season 2 was much better paced and the characters more interesting. I started watching the series yesterday and I’m halfway through season 2 now.
The show is much better this season.
S1 is like the intro, where we get to know them all and the situation is set up.
S2 doesn’t need to do all that, so they could introduce lots of cool subtext into each individual storyline. There was some nuance in each storyline before, but too much would have complicated the intro and setup IMO and the creators wisely decided to save that for S2.
I might have already said this, but I really hope then spend most of time together in Season 3. I hate when shows/movies build this great ensemble only to separate them right away.
I agree that I do not want to watch a 3rd season of “putting the band back together again”.
Agreed. It gets annoying when writers go that route.
Even the last season of Stranger Things suffered a little from that.
This may have been discussed somewhere, but this bump makes me wonder now how they will depict a certain violin player next season. Like–what can they do?
I noticed Elliot’s clothing was largely unisex anyway. So I don’t foresee any real issue. The credits are already Elliot Page.
Elliot will continue to play Vanya. Filming started in Feb or March of this year. There are rumors that Vanya will also come out as trans (and non-binary), but they are not confirmed.
As long as #5 doesn’t physically change and he stays the cute little boy we all know and love I think this show will be just fine.
Aye; there’s no need for a S3 thread yet but this is confirmation that production resumed :

Season 2was so much better than season 1. Really amazing difference.
