There have been threads that ask other dopers to do specific stuff, such as “Post a picture of your handwriting” or “Post a picture of your feet”
This thread is the non-specific version. Your reply to this thread should take one of the following forms…
A set of links to pictures of what another poster asked for (take your pick).
A request for what you want other posters to do.
A general reply (you may want to point out how stupid this idea is or anything else)
So, for example, you might get three posts “post the contents of your fridge”, “post a full-frame close-up of one of your eyes”, “post a screenshot from a particularly interesting bit of your favourite computer game” (most games give you the ability to take screenshots. Usually with the f10 or f12 keys) And you’ll also get post where people have done those things (hopefully more than three. I don’t want this to be a thread full of just requests)

No. Anyone likely to steal your stuff will probably not know what you have before they make the decision to steal. If a lot of people know what you have via this thread there is not likely to be a person amongst them who will want to steal your stuff.
Yeah right. I think all your posts and the last 7 years you’ve been here have all just been a clever ploy leading up to this thread, to get us to drop our guard.
My request is a photo of any sort of plant you have in your house. If you don’t have any houseplants, then a plant, tree or shrub right outside your door.
I had a feeling someone would comment on that! I keep a lot of scissors because I always seem to lose them just when I need them most. SO I keep a few extras on hand!
Actually no. Both my middle fingers curve like that, and always have. I have no idea why.
Here are my two worst areas of clutter at the moment. The first is part of an ongoing project to organize all my family photos and other stuff, so I have various binders and envelopes, etc. It was worse a month ago, but I cleaned it up. The other one is a corner with boxes I still have not unpacked since my last move. Not too bad, but still much more cluttered than I would like.
Next - how about a photo of your bed in its current state, or if it’s too messy you can make it if you’d like. Let’s see where you sleep!
