Any two or three dimensional shape, including spirals, can be scaled up or down while preserving ratio. Talk to an architect or drafter. BTW, you are not talking about ‘scalar’ which is the opposite of ‘vector’. ‘Scaling’ an object up or down has nothing to do with compression waves [see below].

Converging waves gain in amplitude, not inertia, nor mass. Any fool knows that the only way to express mass in terms of wavelength is through this formula. Note that extreme velocities or small masses are required to make any sort of useful wave out of a mass.

You get an ‘F’ in physics 101, and a ‘D’ in interpersonal skills.

Handy glossary of terms:
Compresson wave: A wave in which the disturbance is a compression of the medium. (Compression waves are also called ‘longitudinal waves.’)

sca·lar (sk l r, -lär ) A quantity, such as mass, length, or speed, that is completely specified by its magnitude and has no direction

in·er·tia ( -nûr sh ) Physics. The tendency of a body to resist acceleration; the tendency of a body at rest to remain at rest or of a body in straight line motion to stay in motion in a straight line unless acted on by an outside force.

Just thought I’d throw in a friendly limerick, as posted in this thread.

And now, on with the discoursing.

Hyiruu,

You still havent answered the question. How is the ratio 1:6.18 (BTW, ) any more special to the ratio 1:3.14.

I think not. If I moved this kind of foolishness to Great Debates, Gaudere would be wearing my balls on her charm bracelet.

Fair enough, I concede my first point to you; it is not a Spiral of Archemedes. The other points (and as far as I’ve read, all the points of all the other posters) still stand.

The Unified Field Theory Solved!! COOL!!

Does this mean I get my flying car now? Because, dammit, that’s what those blasted sci-fi cartoons and movies promised me. Oh yeah, see if they can line up a three-way for me with Jane and Judy Jetson, too. Hot mamas AND flying cars! The future’s looking brighter every day!

he gets a “D” in interpersonal skills? that’s one weighted curve…

Sure, why not? Give this guy a call.

As far as I understand it, the theory describes how one playing field can be used for baseball, football, soccer, and, if modified appropriately, even ice hockey. I am told that a variant of the theory, the so-called unified farmer’s-field theory, can be used to provide a theoretical underpinning for the practice of growing barley, oats, wheat, and corn side by side.

and with a little modification, you can grow Rice as well.
Corn, oats rice and wheat…

hey!! call Cheerio’s immediately!!!
