Anyone watch this show? I haven’t seen a thread about it yet. Anyway, this Sunday’s episode wasn’t all that great but still entertaining.

I guess I should mention that there will be spoilers from here on down.

They had a few bad guys in a hallway while they were stuck in a room. Their solution was to rig a bag of heroin with a flashbang and some flammable chemical used, I’m assuming, for cutting the heroin. Then throw said heroin bomb into the hallway. This gets the bad guys high and they run away.

They did however have assault rifles and flash bangs so I’m not really sure what the whole MacGyver act was for.

They also left an open ending involving the crew taking the guy who planned the mission
into a hostile country.

I like this show but I started a thread here a while back only to find that while many people watch The Shield, no one will admit to watching The Unit.

I have a feeling the heroin bomb was because they had used up their violence quotient for the episode and couldn’t reasonably show the heroes gunning down more people than they already had.

I’m glad they’ve scaled back the focus on the wives. All of them can be supremely annoying and they’re best in small doses if at all.

The wives have a bunch of great victories too but you’re right, they do get annoying.

That’s the show in a nutshell, to me. Admittedly I’ve never followed it closely - it’s something that’s on when I’m in the room so I’ll sort of watch it.
