Well, Page 7 is finally up. I was waiting to see if I’d get any more submissions but they seem to have slowed a bit. However, I imagine the pic of BBJ will have guys and gals alike scrambling to be put on page 7.

Great site Max, thanks for helping put faces to names. And I’ll agree that all the ladies are very hot. (hell, I’ll even say that plnr looks good, but that’s as far as my hetro self will let me go). I was sorry to see that it looks like a few posters got swamped with pervy requests, or perhaps innappropriate pictures, but I do want to point out that of the 7 pages this thread has, it wasn’t until page…what, 5 or so before it became obviouse that it had turned into a feeding frenzy. So cut the latecomers a bit of slack, it’s a forgivable mistake not to realize that things got out of hand. One of the few advantages to having been here so long, is that you can get a feel for how these things are going to go. As soon as the first semi-naked picture was sent, and acknowledged here, I just knew it was going to go downhill pretty fast. (smile)…It’s sad, because all of you ladies really are increadibly attractive, but the ones that do like to share a bit more, don’t often realize just how many people are on here. Anyway, keep up the great work Max, and I’ll keep checking back for updates.

I, being somewhat out of shape and out of my mind, do here in give consent for any picture or video of me to be displayed on the internet, provided that the following conditions are met-
The photo was taken with my knowledge and consent (No ambush photographs)
The photograph could reasonably be described as having turned out well, or that I look reasonably good in it (No photos capturing that special moment when a strong wind made it look like I haven’t combed my hair in years)
Several Dopers have a photograph of me in a hooded cloak. The cloak has been arranged so that I completely covered from head to toe, and no part of my body is visible- except for one (I think that’s clear enough). If you have a copy of this, please do not publish or distribute it. I was drunk at the time.
Which is why the lighting is all wrong. The folds of the cloak are screwed up ans don’t lead the eye to the central focus of the picture. But draw it away (I really should have had somebody else drape it and use pins to hold it in the proper lines). The dpi is far too low. And the make up on the exposed skin- well, what was I thinking with that?
It is with heavy heart I announce the end of the USDMPP. I’ve finally decided to let my AOL account go the way of the dodo and thus the webpages. I want to thank everyone for their contributions (especially some of those “special” ones…droooool) and let you know it was great to put a face with a name.

:smack: Saw my old pic from a few years ago that I used in the old pic page. Ah to be a bored caffiene hooked 14 year old again. I think I asked if I could change it a while back, but I never got around to finding another pic.
I thought this was going to just be a thread where everyone linked to a picture of themselves without having to rely on one person’s generosity.
Maybe we can start a thread with just links to pictures of ourselves (pics hosted by ourselves) with a strict rule for no comments? Maybe someone else can make a Comments thread?
Or maybe it’s a silly suggestion? 
Actually I’m sure there is a current thread going on right now (as there is every 6 months or so) with pages of photos in it. Usually they devolve into giant flirt threads and people get flattered or hurt depending on the amount of attention they get. The webpage was a nice way of avoiding all of that.

I thought that happened on boards with a teenybopper base, but yes, you are right. It’s a good way to avoid that.
If it doesn’t work just copy the URL and paste it back into the bar again. Fuckin’ Geocities.
I’m no longer with AOL but my picture is still there.
You know, I have the time and space; if folks would like to re-create the picture pages I’d be happy to set some up. I always thought they were a neat way to, well, put faces with names.
