HaHaHa. That made the local paper too. The local paper said the officer was unable to get a statement from the rooster. Fuckers got what they deserved. Yes, they can be annoying but *they * are local and the mean ppl were from Jersey. Enough said.
We need to discover who began this “then the murders began” and track him/her down.
I left work at 3, stopped at Food Lion on the way home, and in a few minutes, I’ll feed the dog, and then feed me.
**FCD **just called - he’s in Ocala, and as I type this, he’s probably at his parents’ house. Just in time for supper! The trip took him just over 13 hours. I’m sure he’s exhausted. I know I am.
I shall sleep with Mel tonight.
It’s midnight. Happy weekend, everyone!
Not weekend here yet, alas. Wish it was - I need a little weekend.
Supper has been ingested. Shortly, I will assume the crochet position and finish the last couple of squares. Then I’ll start crocheting them together, and soon I’ll have another afghan. Not tonight, apart from making a few squares. I’s too tahred.
I make a dang fine chikin pot pie if’n I do say so myself. YUM! Plus leftovers for Sattidy’s dindin or N.O.L. Tomorrow is fish day it bein’ a Firday in Lent. I got some nice perch filets from the Pubic Sto’. I envision them fried and served with wild rich and peas 'n carrots. Spidey the aigs boiled first.
Bowser I’m retired so it’s all one great big weekend for me!
Home finally. I had one of those days where I could barely keep my eyes open. I left a half hour early for my hour commute. We are having leftovers from last night. One of my fishing vendors gave me a large piece of snapper so that will be cooked tomorrow night. Tahred.
Bowser where in the world are you?
What David always hated most about the Sumner family dinners was the way everyone talked about him as if he were no there.
And then the murders began.
Sah-son cleaned the windows in the front and back doors and storm doors. You can tell the difference. He also dusted all the little grooves in the pocket doors. Now if I could just get him to do the baseboards. All this old wood trim is pretty, but it’s a pita to keep clean.
Then we trimmed the dog’s toenails. The dog was not happy, and he was especially nasty about it. Sometimes he takes it pretty well, today he was snapping at me the whole time.
I made hamburgers for a late lunch/early dinner. I like my new skillet for burgers. I can make the whole package of ground beef at one time, then Sah-son heats the leftover burgers for himself later. I used provolone cheese this time too, much better than American Cheese, which has no taste at all to me.

swampy, your chicken pie sounds so good. I haven’t made that for a long time and now, you have flung a cravin’ on me.
I brought home a couple of small boxes with lids (4"X4"X2") for parts here in the studio. If they work well, I’ll bring more home, as they’re something that are always in the cardboard recycling bin. The kitchen and bathroom have been scrubbed and everything else dusted. Now to play in the studio.
We shall now retire to the boudoir to watch teevee until sleepy time. We’s tahrd!
Nitey Nite Y’all!
in bed.
No, wait, that’s fortune cookies. [Emily Litella]Nevermind[/EL]
:dubious: If Rosie were here, she would put a stop to this! :dubious:
Or post the most. Dammit.
I think Bowser is in Israel.
I am in CA again. More doctor and treatment stuff for to fix my haid. I lack the proper words to convey my enthusiasm. I have been collecting information on different surgeries and drugs and treatments, so I’ve got a stack of things to review. We’ll see what’s next. Something will work one of these days.
Info on “then the murders began.” It seems the fortune cookie thing is not that far off.
“This time there would be no witnesses. Then the murders began.”

Flytrap, The Cute One[sup][sup]TM[/sup][/sup] would join in. She was in Mensa, after all.
In Be’er Sheva, Israel. (Also written variously as Beer Sheva or Beersheva, sometimes with a “b” instead of a “v”.)
Weekends are Friday and Saturday here. I also don’t work on Sunday. Working a four day week is pretty cool.
Wife and daughter are off shopping, and I’m home cleaning the bathroom and minding the dog.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 58 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 79 and mostly cloudy for the day. TWPTB are now sayin’ we shall have tstorms this mornin’. I have no idea if this is to be but if’n it is, I will assume the handy folk would not be able to reverse the gate. Also I will assume that they would not want to be messin’ with the uninstallin’/installin’ of an electric water heater durin’ a tstorm. So who knows if any of this gets done today.
Bowser mindin’ the dawg should be no problem if you are also cleanin’ the bathroom since it is the belief of most pets one should never be unaccompanied to the bathroom.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. I suppose I should also go ahead and purtify just in case. This shall be wait and see time I reckon.
Happy Firday Y’all!
Sleep is a wonderful thing!!!
About 8:30 last night, I let Higgs out for her evening wee, then locked her in her crate, turned out the lights and headed to the bedroom. I managed to get the cats out of the room - actually, Ziva never came in and Taz scooted out right after I took my meds, so I locked the door, got all comfy in bed, and turned on the TV. In less than 10 minutes, I turned the TV off and slipped quickly into unconsciousness. Next thing I knew, it was 4:50 and I felt human!!!
With **FCD **being gone, I have the additional morning chore of scooping the cat box. Luckily, yesterday was a light day for them. Sometimes, we feel like they invite every cat in the neighborhood to poop in their box, but I guess last night they were a tired as I was!
From the looks of the maps on the weather channel, there will be snow to the north of us and snow to the south, but our little slice of paradise should be missed. Here’s hoping. My big weekend plans include cooking up a big pot of veggie-beef soup, building 2 meatloaves for the freezer, and maybe even wiping down the kitchen cabinets - they’re looking kinda ick. We’ll see how much energy I have.
But for now, I need to get thru this pile of drawings on my desk.
Happy Firday!!!
