Actually, the “ghost in a jar” might not be considered laughable by some. It’s possible that it’s an actual relic from a pagan ritual. I think there are some voodoo (our “Voudou”, if you prefer) sects that practice(d) the capturing of an enemy’s spirit in some sort of vessel. If this guy really did dig up an authentic “voodoo” relic, then it might have some value to those who are interested in that sort of thing.

The high bid had feedback of -2, but the seller doesn’t have to sell to the high bidder, right? Since he/she didn’t meet the feedback requirement, maybe the jar would go to the next bidder.
I was watching this earlier, and the seller did cancel gary_the_gimp_horn’s bids at least once.
I think the guys at Fark are responsible for most of the bidding.
They managed to get it up to eBay’s max, almost a 100 million.
