The view outside your window

The view outside was a little dreary yesterday afternoon, as it was dark and rainy all day. But the view inside improved, after a truck pulled into my driveway and the nice man gave me my new TV: finally spending some of my income tax refund. My old 12" Sharp isn’t going to be much use after February 17, so I got me a new 46" Sharp*. Old and busted. New hotness.

*Almost 30 years ago, I accidently dropped my Sharp color TV almost four feet onto a concrete floor. It kept working for another eight years (there was still a dent and some concreted dust imbedded in the case when it finally died) and I’ve bought nothing but Sharp TV’s since then.

I was delighted, even the second time around with your moon shot, enipla. Thanks again.

We had a huge snowfall in January but it didn’t bother my Hondas one bit! No sir!

I took this photo just a few minutes ago. From my office I can watch the cars and trucks going up and down the interstate.

I was amazed at all the vegetation too. Posting pictures to this thread could be sort of a bragging thing, you’re not as likely to do it if you have nothing but a parking lot or a wall outside your window. Or no window at all.

I’m jealous of all of you who don’t have snow on the ground yet (or ever). Winter has its own beauty, but I’m already missing the green.

This is the closest to my view from the office window. They’re down the block from us, but the towers loom over everything.

Weird. I know one of the guys in the photos, which is a little exciting to me, as I live rather far away in Canada, and he lives in the Bay area. He’s a long-time friend of my brother-in-laws, and I knew he worked for Adobe, but it was still a bit of a surprise to see someone on that page I recognized.

I’ll take yours if you don’t want it. Winter is my absolute favorite season, hands down, and by far. I r <3 teh sno.

Hey, cool! I just grabbed the first site with decent pictures, since my cell phone doesn’t have a camera.

Oh, wow. I took one look at that and thought, “It’s home!!!” Actually, I grew up in Saskatoon, but the two cities must have a similar style.

Here’s the view from my office chair this morning.
You can just barely see out the window…

Satisfies the OP’s criterion, IMHO.

This is a shot out our front living room window. That’s the Chugach Mountain Range in the distance.

This is the view from where I’m sitting at the moment. I don’t live here, obviously.

You’re, like, the ultimate Doper - two screens, the Dope up on one of them, cat lolling around, and a Mac tower. You rock, dude!

rivulus, you’re not wrong. I grew up in Saskatoon, too, and there are many similarities between Calgary and Saskatoon (about 200,000 of them being the people  ).

Here’s a view from my front door on Nov. 9th. I live on the second floor of an apartment complex. It had just finished raining.

Here is a view right now out of my front door and it is raining. Jeez you’d think I live in Seattle what with all the rain but no I live in San Diego.
