Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 71 Amurrkin out and windy, with a predicted high of 77 and rain/thunderstorms/apocalypse this afternoon and evenin’.
Today shall include deheathenization (I have ush duty), N.O.L. (havin’ two people over after deheathenization), and returnin’ to the church house after N.O.L. to help with what is called “the greening of the church,” meanin’ we decorate the place for Christmas. Two weeks hence it will all come down. Today is the last Sunday of Advent for those who may be keepin’ score.
Ok, that’s all I got. Need to consider what to feed rumbly tummy as well as the need for more caffiene. Then, purtification for deheathenization and ush duty shall commence.

It’s raining. I consider this an excuse not to do laundry, since **doggio **didn’t do it for me yesterday.
I need to email my dad and let him know what time I’ll be at his house Tuesday. This will happen once I figure out what time I’m leaving Tuesday. I want to make dinner Tuesday night, but I need to figure out what to make (something that I can bring two and a half hours and make there.) I have to be out and about tomorrow since I’ll be having Know a Guy fix the last few things on my car, so I’ll figure it out then. I might ask Little Red (formerly Night Audit Lady) if she has any ideas.
Right now Aldi has Liqueur Cake Bites: Traditional German Baumkuchen Made with Dark Chocolate and Amaretto Liqueur flavor. Oh. My. Stars. And. Garters. They. Are. Good. This almost makes up for the fact that Aldi was out of pfeffernusse when I was last there! :eek: I was planning on buying up the remaining stock and bringing it to Older Sister’s house because that was The Best Gingerbread I’ve ever had. And it’s gone now! cries I’ll see if they have a stollen that isn’t made with almonds that I can bring instead. Two of the nephews are allergic to tree nuts. Poor boys.
This time of year I hate not having a working oven. Want to bake.

Spent all of yesterday cleaning house because the new sofa was being delivered, which means all kinds of things need to move around/be donated. New sofa is AWESOME! Nephew and I made an excellent choice!
I have to get some work done today and get ready for vacation. Am going in to work tomorrow for half a day and will then finish getting ready for the trip. Lots to do!

Laundry’s been done, bathroom’s been cleaned, and I found a topper for my tree! The last of my mom’s crocheted angels dipped in starch was in my towel drawer. I pushed it back into shape the best I could and put it on top of the tree. It looks about as good as you’d expect. I’ll try to get a decent picture of it once the stuff on the drying rack is done. One mustn’t put a picture of one’s drying underthings on the internet for all to see. It just isn’t ladylike.
Now I’m going to attempt to brown ground turkey the proper way. I looked it up online just out of curiosity and I’ve been doing it the very wrong way. Apparently you aren’t supposed to just leave it in the pan and wander off. Damn cooking, demanding my undivided attention. :mad:
Howdy Y’all! Deheatenization, with ush duty, N.O.L., and chruch house Christmas decoratin’ has been accomplished. Well, church house decoratin’ is still goin’ on but I left after what I was there to do got done. Been a busy day which makes for a tahrd bear. OYKW is kinda beat too. He’s nappin’ right now. I don’t wanna nap now cause tomorrow is irk day, alas. He will be goin’ on his way to visit family in West Alabammy. I’ll head up to Ye Olde Hometowne Tuesday. Both of us will head back on Thursday. Firday will be our day together. This pleases me to no end.
