Beth is the fair-haired and oddly hot younger sister of Maggie.
Bullshit. The purpose of human society, more than anything else, is to take care of babies and children. I’ll lay odds that if you asked the majority of that group – not merely Rick and Carl, but Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Glenn, Tyreese, & Sasha too – what the group’s priority should be at any time, it would be to protect and nurture Judith, and that if all the adults escaped a crisis at the cost of her life, they had failed.
Scarlett’s “I’ll never be hungry again” scene would really have worked his season, but I’m not sure who’d have said it.
Denise Crosby would have been most logical I suppose, but I think Michonne would make the better silhouette as the music swells.
This.
Without babies, the human race ENDS. Without babies, there is no hope, and Rick & company are just wandering around, waiting to die one way or another.
Disappeared from Daryl in a car after drinking moonshine.

The Walking Dead
Nope. She played a vital role of attracting the attention of Gareth’s group to the hiding room in case any of them were watching front door so Rick’s platoon could slip back in. Excellent timing.
I assume some dress for protection, not comfort. As I’ve said before, in a real zombie apocalypse, the medieval cosplay guys will rule the Earth.
I walked into that one, didn’t I?
You win the Internet.
I disagree. Or rather, I disagree that Gareth was attempting psychological warfare. He wanted Bob to tell Rick exactly where they, Gareth and his friends, were hiding. Perhaps he wanted Rick to think it was PSYOPS, but that was misdirection. His actual goal was to get as many of Rick’s group out of the church as possible so that his gang could take the people in the church while Rick’s Raiders were elsewhere.
As other said, I think they wanted ‘meat on the hoof’, rather than a few hundred pounds of barbecue that they would never be able to eat before it spoiled. The plan was a good one: Reduce the number of defenders so that they could accomplish their objective. (Remember that they were outnumbered and outgunned.) Too bad for them, Rick was smarter than In initially gave him credit for.
There’s way too much of this with this show in general. (If it weren’t so popular, and therefore useful to stay abreast of, I don’t think I’d watch. So many moments of “you’ve GOT to be kidding…”)
Extras are cheaper than speaking roles, but for a series regular (with a contract) I don’t think the pay is any less if your character has no lines.
More likely, perhaps: the young actor may be having orthodontic work done. (There’d be no way to explain Carl suddenly acquiring braces! :dubious:)
Agreed. That was Gareth’s plan. Get Rick and the boys all pissed off so that they would go marching on their camp. Then when they were gone, swoop into the church for more prisoners/food. This is evidenced by the fact that Gareth’s gang was watching and waiting for Rick’s Raiders to leave.
Good plan, but not good enough!
While watching the episode I couldn’t remember who Jim was. Reading this post I now remember Jim, I think; he was the crazy guy who kept digging graves for everyone, right?
Now that I remember Jim, I forget the context in which his name came up in the episode. What was the reference?
Who was the guy who was turning and left sitting under a tree?
It occurred to me during the comics run that all of us, every single person is a member of the walking dead. Think about it.
I don’t think you can be turned in this universe by eating the meat of a person bit by a zombie, or hell even eating actual decaying zombie meat. You’d probably only vomit, I think even if a person is zombie bit but put on IV antibiotics they would be fine but in a pinch amputation quickly works.
It is established everyone is already infected, the condition for turning is death period.
I agree with the others. The point of giving Bob back was to draw Rick out.
While I do not forgive the Termites and I think in the end Rick did the right thing, you can still feel bad they ended up like they did. They tried to do the decent thing and got torture and rape in return. That would screw with anyone’s head.
I liked the episode well enough but I was disappointed everything with Bob worked out pretty much exactly as everyone guessed it would last week.
I believe they were discussing the length of time it takes to turn after having been bitten.
That was Jim in the first season. In this episode, when discussing Bob being bitten someone made a comment about how long it was after Jim was bitten.
Who was abducted after her & Daryl were forced out of that weird Gingerbread funeral parlour.
Agreed.
That would’ve been hilarious, but the only way it would’ve worked is she’d had the accent back in her first scene standing over the pot.
Hell it is.
Best $400.00 that I ever spent.
