I believe the PC term is “learning-impaired post-viable compulsive anthrocarnivorism sufferers.”
Or LIPVCAS, for short.
Without re watching the episode, why couldn’t they have shot it in a way that made the supports look as if they were on the inside of the walls? Plus, we can’t let reality get in the way of our TV show. Otherwise, why all the zombies?
(a side question dealing with reality: Who would buy a $800,000-plus mansion that’s approximately 8 feet from the neighbors house?)
Also, weren’t they constantly (in shifts even) dealing with walkers about to breach the fences en mass when they were at the prison? Why isn’t that a problem here?
…If you cant protect a prison.
I thought that when they reached Alexandria’s gate they heard children playing, and that’s what made them drop their guard so quickly. I don’t see any children.
And as others have mentioned- grass? whatever for? It’s as if they’re oblivious.
Finally, given their track record, I find it highly doubtful that they’d be able to trust any type of institution or organized community so easily. And for what? Backwards walls and running water (as if) ? I’d sleep in a barn.
Did they ever explain where the electricity was coming from?
I think solar panels but still. Video games?
Solar grid.
Okay, that also explains the running hot water?..and drainage. These people are extremely lucky. I’m guessing they’re using septic tanks because any sewer system would’ve stopped working at some point.
This place has to be complete bullshit. I, for one, would never give up my weapons after so closely becoming a new york strip steak for other humans to send back to the kitchen.
Expensive land.
Northern VA was evacuated, so less zombies. Supposedly. We’ll see if that holds up.
Deanne told everyone to give them space and not come at them all at once.
The grass didn’t look that great. It’s a sustainable community, so it’s probably drought resistant and doesn’t need much upkeep. It does rain there. The whole development was supposed to be pretty close to off-grid.
Trust them? They’re planning on taking over if they don’t like it.
Ask your doctor if it’s right for you.
The Grass, just give it up. there is no way to create sets with long ass grass everywhere nor rip out peoples lawns to put in temporary gardens for filming.
the Community was set up to be self sustaining, Enough solar to power everything a modern house needs to run is doable with todays tech easily at the price of 800k.
That’s funny!
Okay, maybe. The photos that were presented to Ricks “family” in the barn were grainy and black & white I think. Now they’re in a place with video cameras and apparently any luxury that was available before a zombie apocalypse. It doesn’t add up.
Also, I can’t forgive the show because the grass is short. I volunteer to keep my grass as long as possible for the good of the show.
I had the same complaint, but I’m willing to overlook it. As Donald Bellisario once said, you should not examine these things too closely.
you are correct here though that was just rancid ass writing, the damn Camcorder is capable of taking printable stills FFS
Good username/ topic.
I just want to be able to hold this show to a higher standard.
Has anyone seen “dead set” at all?
Do you know how expensive those replacement cartridges are for printers!?!?!?
Well, if they raid one of those inkjet-refill places, they could get hundreds of cartridges for their printers. I kinda doubt it’d be a big post-apocalyptic demand item like food or ammo.
On the plus side, at least the practice of manufacturers coming out with new printers that use cartridges different from the ones you’ve already bought has stopped.
Sometimes, but not often, I wish there was a “like” button. ![]()
Oh yes. I particularly enjoyed that. ![]()
Thanks!
