The Walking Dead; 6.03 "Thank You" (open spoilers)

Glen surviving that would be complete and total bullshit and the worst kind of shitty writing.

…and then he’ll find a manhole under the dumpster, and flee to safety on a winged sewer rat!

I dunno though. Seriously, I think there’s a chance Glenn might find a way, it’s not like the show’s unknown for some shit writing.

I’m not going to watch again this, so I’m asking you good people - wasn’t Maggie some danger early in the ep?

Maggie’s in Alexandria. She wasn’t in this episode, If I recall correctly.

Glenn’s reaction to having his intestines yanked out was pretty mild…

Much as I hate to see Glenn bite it (or rather vice-versa), IMO having him miraculously get out of that particular pickle would be the worst kind of messing with the audience.

On Talking Dead, one of the guests was talking about how the longer a show goes, the larger the list of ‘unkillable’ characters becomes. At least TWD has made an effort to show that no one is safe in this world.

The injury to Rick’s hand: that was a bite, not just a wound, right?

I’m thinking that’s exactly what is going to happen, and I might go all Misery on them: “She didn’t get out of the cock-a-doodie car!”

I agree. I also think that is what is going to happen.

I’m going to go against the grain here and say that the writers has pretty much played out Glen’s character. He had a great run, but…

Everything dies, baby that’s a fact,
But maybe everything that dies, someday comes back
[]

First, let me say HOLY SHIT NOOOOOOO

Agreed, but I have a feeling that is what will happen. I thought it looked like Nicholas’s body was on top of Glenn and that’s whose intestines it was. They seemed close to his head, not his abdomen…

Rick cut his hand with his own knife, right?

When we see Rick running up the street, there are walkers munching on a corpse in the foreground. One of those walkers has a butcher knife stuck in its shoulder/back area.

Rick uses his little pocketknife to stab that walker in the head, and then as he yanks his knife back out he cuts his finger on the butcher knife sticking out of its back. (This move also appears to snap his pocketknife in two.)

IMDB credits both Andrew Lincoln and Steven Yeun in 83 episodes from 2010–2016. They’re tied for being in the most eps. (Including the kid who plays KORL).

Hrmmm…

Credit where credit’s due, kudos to the writers for the biggest subversion in show history:

Seven characters in a group, including main characters, and everyone dies (including a main character) except the three black characters. Didn’t see that coming.

Fuck!!!

Glen is in a bad way, but with enough zombie sluice around him, I expect that he is gonna walk away from this one, extremely fucked up, but will survive.

Declan

Yeh. I’m calling it. Glenn will survive somehow.

Now, after watching Talking Dead, I’m beginning to doubt Glen being dead. I guess we’ll see. But they did NOT actually list his name in the IN MEMORIUM segment.

I have to say, though, that once again the make really bad choices. Do not go into towns-- there are ALWAYS Walkers there. If you find yourself in a town, DO NOT go into alleys. No alleys, guys!!

And another thing… When Michonne and group are on the other side of the gate, and David is getting chowed on by the Walkers, why didn’t they shoot him it the head???

Because he was a goner anyway and they needed to preserve ammo. And there wasn’t going to be anything left to reanimate after a herd of hungry walkers et him.

…fanwanks R me.

If Glen is really dead, the question becomes: who hates Maggie so much that she has to weather so much loss? If Glen’s really gone I can’t see Maggie’s character going on.
