Yeah, I’ve heard that, as well.
Sounds like Sasha is going to get her ticket stamped.

Rosita turns around, and there’s a figure in silhouette. The figure has a crossbow.
Oh yes.
Dwight shouldn’t screw around if he is going to change sides.
Does Darryl have a crossbow now?
I have been thinking that Dwight has something treasonous on his mind, lately.
Oh yeah.
Perhaps he will make an offer for Rosita to take back. I think he is the “go now” person.
I thought it was pretty clear that it was Dwight’s wife’s handwriting on the “go now” note.
I’m bored with Rosita’s moodiness. I was hoping that she was going to get finished off this week.
Reading a recap, I saw a few stills of the next episode, and Sasha looks to be in the cell Daryl was in earlier. I don’t know circumstances, though. She could still bite it. Or Eugene convinces Negan to keep her alive. Who knows?
Rosita and Sasha’s plan(?) doesn’t make any sense, but I guess it makes for good television. Eventually. We don’t like each other but let’s join up for what’s sure to be a suicide mission? What could possibly go wrong? Especially if they were to split up at the worst possible moment.
Eugene seems happy, as happy as Eugene could ever be. Regular meals, a secure shelter, people to protect him, people who think he’s important, and a stuffed toy. All he has to do is grovel at Negan’s feet. On the plus side, he didn’t alert the Saviors about the intruders. Yet?
Dwight or Daryl? Who’s most likely to be sauntering around Saviour Estates with a crossbow over his shoulder? Probably Dwight. I’d like to think Daryl would be a bit more secretive that close to Negan’s compound.
I hope for this as well.
I’m not sure Eugene has any “true colors”. I think he likes having some authority (more than he ever had in Alexandria), but I’m not sure how comfortable he feels (especially after witnessing the fate of Dr. Carson no. 1), Fear has always been his biggest motivator, and Negan is still pretty terrifying.
I’m betting that he’s still Rick’s boy. He’s seen first hand that Negan’s valued and trusted people can become living firewood. I’m guess that he knows he’s not safe until Negan is dead and “breaking out” means he’s hunted. He knows his best bet is to sit quiet and not make a move until he can be sure that his move will either kill Negan or until Negan dies by other means.
The whole freeing Eugene plot made no sense whatsoever. The fence isn’t what keeps Eugene there, it’s the threat of Neegan’s wrath. If Eugene escapes, Neegan’s going to look for him, and Eugene isn’t as resourceful as Daryl.
And what was Sasha’s and Rosita’s plan for Eugene? “We’re here to free you, but first we’re going to break in and kill Neegan, which we’ve decided is a suicide mission … but we’re here to free you.” Eugene at least has half a brain and knows that the girls are fucking idiots, like the rest of Rick’s people. He’s just going to bide his time and see what happens. Brave, no … smart, yes.
Also, Neegan has some pretty crappy defense and security. I’m surprised someone hasn’t taken him out sooner.
Oh, and when the Saviors entered Hilltop, the first thing they should have said was, “Next time we come, don’t be ringing those bells like there’s an air raid. What are you hiding?”
Why, because two idiots can just walk up to the wire and breach it with impunity?
Because he lined the outer perimeter with noisy walkers that would actually mask the sounds of someone sneaking up on the base and really only serve a decorative purpose against any real threat?
Because he has a building just outside of his camp that serves as a perfect vantage point for a sniper to go all Charles Whitman on the Saviors?
Am I correct in assuming Sasha and Rosita are going with another version of the “single magic bullet” plan that worked out so well before? Are they unaware that Rick and Michione are secretly building an army?
Because it seems to me what they SHOULD be doing is gathering reconnaissance so they can form a real plan of attack, rather than go on some stupid suicidal mission that, at best, may provoke a retaliatory response from the Saviors before the other communities are ready to fight.
Next best thing would be to adopt the longstanding sniper tradition of PATIENTLY WAITING FOR YOUR PERFECT FUCKING SHOT!!
Eugene.
Much ado about Darryl being held, but no body gives a damn and…who is the guy? Oh yeah, Eugene. Haven’t seen him around in a while.
Hey, there’s whats his name. As long as we are here, we might as well rescue him.
So the other night I had a dream where Rick & the other community leaders were having formal committee hearings on their issues with Negan. I may need to cut back on the news.
You know, when Negan was walking out to greet his returning saviors, Sasha had like a good five to six seconds of a clear shot on him. I guess she didn’t want to take any chances.
And what the hell was Sasha thinking with that Rambo, go-it-alone shit she pulled at the end? She can’t possibly think she can take out all of Negan’s troops by herself. Anyway, it looks like that was Daryl at the end, ready to help save Sasha with Rosita. So, can’t wait for that.
