The Weird Dreamage MMP

I should really write these down the minute I wake because they fade quickly, but the latest weirdness involved trying to climb steps backwards because I didn’t have my “stick” with me; marching in a band made up of ancient Incan instruments; being in the middle of a soap opera-esque/sitcom triangle; and swimming. Swimming was somehow a part of all three other pieces, in addition to having its own chapter. Sometimes I wake up from these and try to remember exactly what is was I’d eaten the night before; sometimes I sit up in bed laughing my head off.
Weird Dreamage has become part of my everyday life, I think I will keep a voice recorder near my bed, and stockpile them. Who knows, there may be a movie in it somewhere (can’t be any worse than half the dreck Hollywood is dumping on us now…)

Have a good week, all.

1st! W00T!

Second!

I have weird, incoherent dreams most of the time. I tried keeping a pad and pencil by the bed for a while, but couldn’t make heads nor tails of my ‘notes’. And, of course, I couldn’t remember anything offhand. All I remember from last night, for instance, was being chased by a T-Rex. {I got away, I think).

How’s the sick, Rosie?

Third!

I don’t dream much. The ones I do have are usually a bit scary.

For some reason, gmail isn’t opening. The stoopit computer says it doesn’t know how to open that kind of file.

I rarely remember my dreams… but right now I’m awake and dreaming of seeing the sun. Fucker has been missing for a week!

Huh? You mean your browser is trying to download/open the results of accessing the GMail site instead of treating it as HTML?
In that case, try using a different browser until you can figure out what’s broken in the one you’re using. If all you have is IE, download Firefox or Opera or Chrome or… (and, IMO, don’t look back.) If you’re using something else, use IE until you can resolve the issue.

Email me if you need more help…
:stuck_out_tongue:
Oh, wait…
 (Sorry, couldn’t resist!)

It’s over here, and you can have it!! Dear Og, it’s almost December and it’s 26 degrees (Real, not American :p) out there, with no hint of rain!

I never remember my dreams either. This probably means I’m either so well adjusted I don’t need to, or so out there that I would go nuts if I remembered them.
Most likely both…

I’m up and getting ready to go to the cataract surgery this morning - no food or drink since midnight. so no caffeine for me this am! I can only have sips of water to take the meds I’m allowed to take. I have to be there at 6:30 AM and I’m first in line for surgery, at 8.

Hope everyone has a good day today, even though it is Monday. :stuck_out_tongue:

I haven’t had any really strange dreams although every once in a while I dream about my Mom (who passed away in 2003), and those seem so real; I’ve even awakened from one and went to go call her on the phone. I almost had pushed the number for her before I remembered. :frowning:

I recently dreamed that my dog was floating in the air a few feet above me, like a Zeppelin, but moving along a perfectly straight and perfectly horizontal path. (It was indoors, in a room with a high ceiling, or perhaps a stairwell or something like that.)

Up, caffeinated, off ot irk. Hockey tonight.

nj, neat dream.

Very cool dream, nj. Cool topic, rosie!

I occasionally have very vivid dreams that I remember for a long time, but most of my dreams are pretty blurry when I remember them.

Hope everything goes really smoothly, tarra.

Time to get up and get ready for school…ermm…work. Apparently, I’m not awake yet.

Hugs.

GT

Sorry. Didn’t read.

We were robbed probably Saturday night or last night. Our cars were broken into. My husband’s wedding band was stolen- it was in his car after playing golf. I’m really sad about that.

He travels so much for work, that knowing we could be robbed right under our noses is absolutely chilling.

{{{Soapy}}} - that’s frightening! I’m so sorry.

Good luck, Herbs! See ya soon! Heh.

Welcome to the funhouse, njtt!
I said I don’t dream, but of course I do. I just don’t usually remember much. I remember a time after my late husband died, and I remarried.

I would dream that somehow he was still alive, and I was now married to Mr Rebo, and he was all hurt and confused. I would wake up feeling so guilty from that!

Happy Monday, everyone.

I remember dreaming last night, but I don’t remember the subject and plot at all. :frowning:

Most of my dreams are fun, and almost always surreal. Even my nightmares aren’t usually that bad. They tend to be stuff like I did a crime and I might be going to jail, not where I’m being chased by the big bad monster that wants to eat me.

This just in: wife called to say Mrs. Fred has fallen, and the rescue squad is on the way.

Actually, since I happen to be at work, I could do that without bothering with the other browsers (aka “the ones that drive the IT here up a wall”*) so there.

*: apparently, users who insist on dual-booting and who have firefox and chrome are scary, who would’a thunk it? And why is it that so much of IT’s notions of security seem to revolve around users not knowing their mouse from their mousepad?

Sucks, Ivory!

I’m really bummed about his wedding ring. I don’t have sentimental attachment to most objects, but the few I do, I care about very much. I’m really sad about it.

I did have a bizarre dream last night- we’re in the process of choosing a new college president. I dreamed that we were each invited to the White House to discuss the presidential search with Pres. Obama. Well, everyone but me was invited :frowning:

Yes, I 'm feeling a bit invisible and underappreciated at work right now…

Gmail is horrible. My main account has not received an incoming mail since November 9th. It still gets spam, of course. None of the mail that goes into the spam folder should go in my Inbox, so those messages are missing. I’m having to close that email address, which I’m very sad to have to do. The help forum is no help whatsoever.

Dreams? Yeah, I have them. I remember them. They’re all bad. I have nightmares that would make Stephen King jealous. I’ve had them for as far back as I can remember: the earliest being around age 5, where I dreamed that I fell off the front porch, and the earth opened up and I just kept falling… then I saw myself land.

{{{Ivory}}} That sucks :frowning:

Your dream means you are a Patriotic American and will not be expected to hobnob with Muslims, from Kenya no less! :stuck_out_tongue: (d&r)

**Nava **-- sorry, but for some reason the “This is a message from IT: your E-mail account has been locked. Please e-mail IT to rectify this situation” joke(?) got into my mind and would. not. go. away…
Which actually sounds like something your IT would actually do :stuck_out_tongue:

Ann – I’ve never had any trouble with G-mail. Are you saying mail you should have been getting has not been arriving? Have you tried mailing your gmail account from another account you own to see it that works?

Yup. Mail that I should get does not arrive. My husband and I have both tried emailing the account, and neither of us get a bounced message.

Good Mornin’ Y’all from chilly, rainy, icky, yucky weather in south Jawja. I’ve been out and about takin’ care of some errands and glad to be back at da warm, dry cave. I have soup ummm… soupin’ away in the slow cooker. Beef veggie soup. YUM! It’s a soup kind of day.

Herbs you should be either undergoin’ or through with the surgery by now. Hope everything comes out ok. I’m sure it will.

{{{Soapy}}} robbery is always scary. Sorry about hubby’s weddin’ band.

BBBobbio hope everything’s ok with Mrs. Fred.

I rarely remember dreams. Mostly I wake up all WTH did I dream and kinda sorta remember but then I don’t. One thing I remember is that when I dream about the house I grew up in, I’m always on the front porch, never inside. Weird.

Ok, off to surf teh intertoobz for a bit.

Later Y’all!

I talked to the crew while they were there; VWife was there also. I told them about her falling out of bed, and also a low blood sugar episode I didn’t mention here that happened within the past week. Things were leaning to a no transport because she had a scheduled doctor’s appointment at 10:30 anyway.

What with her being elderly and quite infirm, I’m beginning to wonder if she hasn’t started circular motion. :frowning:
