Supper was mega-yum, and I have 5 rolls left over - they won’t be here when **FCD **gets back from FL.
We got a call from our car guys - the oil change on the truck has turned into a brake job and pulling nails out of 3 of the tires (doggone junk yard) and I won’t get the truck back till some time tomorrow. They’ll have to come get me because I am NOT walking the 5 miles to get there in the rain. No way. Anyway, that oil change just got pretty expensive. Dammit.
BBQ has been procured. Sliced smoked poke with a wonderful spicy sauce. Plus we each got a to go order for N.O.L. tomorrow since it was all buy one get one free. OYKW got the smoked pole to go as he had the beef for dindin. I got the smoked chikin. 'Twill be a nice N.O.L. tomorrow.
MOOOOOOM ick about the truck. Least you’ll have safe breaks.
Happy Vunderversary!!!
Home for the night. I skipped the emergency room yesterday. I saw the doctor today and got some blood drawn. I have to go for an MRI and his staff is so nice. They tried to get me in today but couldn’t. However, in the event things get worse they told me just go to the ER at UofM. If it’s bad enough they will schedule me in somehow. The doctor is very nice and I’m hoping he can help me with this and I won’t need surgery.
I never want to be too gross but blood thinners and fibroids don’t mix. I’ve gotten a bit pale, a bit shaky and a lot tired.
Read lots, retained little, will catch up with everyone tomorrow.
Mooom, the ink is a little less expensive than the HP in, and a lot less expensive than the Canon or Lexmark. I can usually replace all of the cartridges for ~$25.
bob, your boxers are trained to attack? Think your trainer would takeon a couple of pair of grannypanties?
The guys are on their way. By the time they hit NC, they should be well clear of the rain and have a dry rest-of-the-trip. There’s a nice, steady shower falling here, but to the west, it becomes a bit more intense - they’ll hit some of that enroute to I95. **FCD **had said he’ll come home tomorrow, but he was talking to our daughter last night, and he may hang around to see her tomorrow, then come home Sunday.
I’ll be calling our car guys in a couple of hours to discuss the work the truck needs as well as arranging for them to come get me when it’s done. I don’t have to be anywhere today, but it’s weird thinking that I’m pretty much stuck here. Yeah, the Harley is still in the garage, but the last time I operated a motorcycle was a Honda 350, nearly 40 years ago. Plus there’s the whole license thing…
Today will definitely be a studio day. Other than that, we’ll just see.
The little lady and are going to tend veggies and berries in our new raised beds. Then I’ll probably go back to Chicago to visit the family and stop by Wrigley Field so I can pee on the left field wall along Waveland Avenue, making an outline of owner Tom “The Weenie” Rickets. Thanks Tom, for trashing my boyhood favorite team and ruining yet another summer, you pecker head.
**Piglet **- I sense some hostility! Don’t hold back - tell us how you feel!
I had to give up my veggie gardening - damned squirrels here think my tomatoes are theirs for the taking. So I just buy from local farmers - more expensive but less aggravation.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis a chilly 51 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of ONLY 76 for the day. That little rain front brought in a sorta cool snap as the high tomorrow will be low 80s. Of course we’ll be in the 90s by the end of the week which is sorta normal for down heah this time of year. With the weather bein’ cooler and all this evenin’ will be a good time to accomplish mowage at da cave which needs to be done. Tomorrow mornin’ I’m supposed to go over to the church house to help with the “Ministry Of The Back Forty” which means I get to ride on a zero turn mower, which is fun.
sari glad you went to the doc. Here’s hopin’ you get better soonest.
Ok, I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. At least it’s Firday and pizza day.
