OYKW called a little bit ago. He was leavin’ his irkplace and said he was just gonna head on to his place. It’s rainin’ out and he’s tahrd, poor thing. Said he just wanted to eat a sammich, take a shower, chill for a bit and go to bed early. So, lieu come on over and fix a plate. It’s leftover beastloaf, mac 'n cheese, and cabbage. I can even nukulate you a piece of cornbread left from yestiddy. It’s not bad heated up.
As I mentioned already, the rain has come unto us. Supposed to be a stormy tonight and tomorrow. A rainy night makes for some good sleep time!

Well, not to brag on myself, but I have been told mine is out of this world. 
I think I shall go lie upon the bed shortly and watch teevee until sleepy time which may come early. I do so love to sleep while it’s rainy/stormy.

Irk A/C is on the fritz. I about died today from heatstroke. Here’s hoping TPTB get it fixed tomorrow as I will not continue to melt for much longer.
Hubby made it to GA but had to stop in Cordele as he was just too tired to continue and it was raining.
Sleepy as I did not sleep well at all last night. 3more days this week. Wonder if I can make it??

Plumbing is one business where I don’t care if the plumber is a nelly twink or a burly bear. That they show up at 11 PM to unclog the main sewer so we can flush again is what matters.

Good morning! Today should be a mostly pleasant day, with much rain moving in tonight and all day tomorrow. **FCD **will take his dad back to FL tomorrow - his next appointment is in July, so he gets a little break from I-95
I’ve got rice in the steamer - I’m going to make my grandmother’s stuffed cabbage (gołąbki) for supper tonight. The rice needs to cool, plus I need to scald the cabbage leaves - it’s yummy but very labor intensive, hence the early start. There will be lots = yummy leftovers!!
Higgs was driving me crazy last night, biting her butt. I couldn’t figure out why, but when **FCD *got home, he found a tick back there. Poor Higgs. Once the offending critter was removed, puppy relaxed. * ick ick ick ick ick ick ick
Studio time today in addition to the cooking. Oh, and the chocolate cake was muy yummo!!!

Sticky, I had a great aunt that was very superstitious. If she put on an article of clothing that ended up being wrong-side-out, she refused to take it off, and put it on the correct way. She said it was bad luck. Good grief. :rolleyes: Of course, even though I’m not superstitious, she has it ingrained in my little brain deeply enough, that I do the same thing. Only when I’m not going out in public. I’ll change it, then. But, if I’m staying in for the day, the wrong-side-out article of clothing stays on! :o

Wow, it’s a chilly start to the morning. I’m not used to this. The warm weather we’ve been having (In the upper 80s!) has seriously spoiled me. Right now, it’s down to 46 degrees, and we actually have a stupid windchill, which makes it feel like 41. It’s also drizzly, and icky.
I’ve got to haul myself out to get groceries in a bit, and after that, there is laundry on the agenda. I think I’ll make a couple loaves of cinnamon & raisin bread later today, too. Just to warm up the house a little bit. I may make a batch of meatballs, too. That way, I can get them all done, and out of the way, so I won’t have to make them this weekend. MrAce has asked for a spaghetti & meatball dinner for Saturday, so that’s on the menu. Got to think ahead!
