Just sent mine out!
My office thought the idea of a white elephant exchange was a brilliant one. Now they wish THEY knew a bunch of strangers to send their weirdo stuff to.
My elephant will be heading out on Monday. It has been carefully swaddled in bubble wrap and nestled in brown paper. I even dusted it before I wrapped it! It’s headed East.
Our elephants will be heading out next week. There is something from my office that will fit in quite nicely, but I won’t be able to get them until then.
My elephant went out about 30 minutes ago.
I didn’t send a list, because I wasn’t sure what was going in my box until I started packing and I don’t have a working printer at home. I am not subjecting anyone to my handwriting…there is only so much someone should have to suffer when receiving a white elephant from me.
Can’t wait to hear it made it across country.
I’m forbidden by the Geneva Convention to make people read my handwriting.

My shipment shall be delayed a bit, as this weekend’s planned travels to my Mom’s (where all the good stuff is) has been postponed till next weekend due to family illness. 
I just had a nightmare, so I got up to walk it off.
Hypno-Toad & fisha, you aren’t supposed to tell!! You wait for the vict…recipient to say they got the package. If they don’t figure it out, then you can tell!

BTW, Mahout Mailman started East about noon on Friday.
My box is going out in Monday’s mail. 
My box is all packed - stuffed to the gills, really - and ready to go to the 24-hour post office sometime tomorrow.

I spent alll Saturday AM getting my box ready, choosing what would go. Then I realized that Ithe post office closed at 1. So, it will start its migration on Monday.
OH and was I the only person tempted to give a fake address. So I could get rid of stuff and let someone else get a box of weird stuff?
I had one of those receipts from the post office the other day. I thought it might have been my white elephant, but the name was Dirt Track and I couldn’t find anyone’s name here with that name. When I picked it up it said documentary not pornography and I remembered that I had ordered a DVD from India.
My elephant will be trundling west tomorrow. The box is chock full o’ elephanty goodness.

the elephant has landed. luckily i have a doctor appt today and was home when the postman rang once.

and a nifty viking boat. i think i see a dozen of eriks and one bill on the boat. the cats approve of it, so it will be placed on a table in the living room next to the danish wooden troll.

My pachy started tromping southward Saturday midday. My house feels lighter and the best part was, searching for items made me neaten up some of my junkier drawers.
The doorbell rang as I was sitting here packaging up my elephant – t’was the mailman, bearing a shark-infested* parcel!
However, I’m not opening my inbound package until my outbound package is all ready to go. Update in an hour or two.
